2 | Why not the Seventh Day as the Sabbath? | Not Specified | Rachy | 73500
Why not the seventh day, For the Son of Man is Lord even of the Sabbath." Matthew 12:8, He made the Sabbath (seventh-day) in the creation week for man, not the jews for man. He made it first for Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. Gen.2:2-3 And on the seventh day God ended His work which He had done, and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had done. Then God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it, because in it He rested from all His work which God had created and made. God didn't need to rest but he knew man needed to. It says in Mark 2:27 "The Sabbath was made for man, and not man for the Sabbath. If the sabbath day was changed from the seventh-day where was it changed? I would like to know? |

4 | Is the sabbath law in Exodus changed??? | Not Specified | Rachy | 73468
Is the 4th commandment in the bible valid today. "Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the LORD your God. In it you shall do no work: you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your male servant, nor your female servant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger who is within your gates. For in six days the LORD made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day. Therefore the LORD blessed the Sabbath day and hallowed it. It says in Matthew 5:17-20 "Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill. For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled. Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. For I say to you, that unless your righteousness exceeds the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven. So this means that Jesus didn't come to change any of the law, he came to fufill it. So is the Sabbath law changed, I get the answer No, what do you get??? |
