1 | WHO IS THE DEVIL? | Not Specified | REX | 108693
Who Is The Devil? What is the Devil like? Does he really look like the red suited, pitchfork-holding cartoon caricature seated on a throne in hell? Or does he roam through the earth disguised as an angel of light? Unfortunately, far too many people do not have an accurate view of who the Devil is. Many underestimate him and his prowess, even going as far as to doubt his very existence. Someone once asked the great evangelist Charles Finney, “Mr. Finney, do you believe in a literal Devil?” Finney replied, “You try opposing him for a while, and you see if he’s literal or not.” You will find out how literal the Devil is the moment you make a commitment to Jesus Christ. The Bible clearly shows us just how active and conniving the Devil really is. At the same time, Scripture also lets us know about the Devil’s limitations and ultimate demise. The more we understand the tactics of this intelligent spirit being, the better equipped we will be to ward off his attacks. Below are some key passages of Scripture that answer some of the most commonly asked questions about the Devil—who is also referred to as Satan. 1. Where Did Satan Come From? Satan’s pride led to his fall from heaven (see Ezekiel 28:12-19). 2. What Are Satan’s Abilities? Satan does have the power and access to do certain things in this world (see 2 Cor. 4:3-4). 3. What Are Satan’s Limitations? While we should not underestimate Satan’s power, we should realize that it is limited (see Job 1:1-2:10). 4. How Does Satan Attack People? Satan masterfully uses manipulation and distortion to deceive people (see Genesis 3:1-7). 5. Who Can Thwart Satan’s Agenda? Those who lay down their lives for Christ will defeat this evil foe (see Rev. 12:10-12). |

3 | Can one have the Spirit of God? | 1 Cor 7:40 | REX | 108600
TO CHOCHMA The God of the Bible Is the One True God Read Isaiah 45:9-23 Many people have asked the question, Don’t all religions lead to God? The answer, as laid out in this passage, is an emphatic no. The God of the Bible is the one, true God, and at some time in the future, the entire world will acknowledge this fact (Isaiah 45:23). This passage shows three reasons why God is the one, true God to be worshiped: 1. God Created the World with a Purpose in Mind. The uniqueness of creation testifies to the uniqueness of its Creator God did not randomly put the world together. He created every living thing with a purpose in mind: to glorify God (Isaiah 45:9-18). 2. God’s Word Is Tested and True. All that God says will come to pass (Isaiah 45:20-21). He sees all and knows all because he is eternal. While we are limited by space and time and can see things only from the beginning to the end, God sees things from the end to the beginning. For instance, the words God spoke concerning the coming of the Messiah, Jesus Christ, in the Old Testament were fulfilled to the letter and recorded in the New Testament. For that reason, when God speaks of the future—such as Christ’s return to earth for all believers—you can bank on it. What other god can make this same claim? 3. God Offers Salvation to All. God does not just limit himself to a select group of people who must follow certain rituals in order to be acceptable to him. He has made his offer of salvation to all who will turn to him. In the end, whether everyone believes or not, all the world will indeed bow before him as the one, true God (Isaiah 45:22-23 I pray that God would reveal himself tom you in what ever form will get your attention. Then It will be up to what happens next. Ponder on this thought: The second you are concieved you will never not exist. With the love of Jesus Christ REX |

4 | Can one have the Spirit of God? | 1 Cor 7:40 | REX | 108485
HELLO RAY I will answer your question with a queston and an answer. Who Is The Holy Spirit? The Holy Spirit is the most mysterious member of the Trinity, which includes God the Father, God the Son (Jesus Christ), and God the Spirit (or the Holy Spirit). Many struggle with the idea of God being three persons, yet one. Quite honestly, we will never fully grasp the concept this side of heaven. Some, however, have wrongly thought of the Holy Spirit as more of an “it” than a “him.” That is probably due in part to biblical descriptions of him as being like or coming upon Jesus in the form of a dove, among other comparisons. Yet these descriptions must be balanced with the descriptions of the other members of the Trinity. For instance, Jesus referred to himself as “the bread of life” and “the good shepherd.” In the same way, God the Father is referred to as “a refuge” and “a consuming fire.” Does this mean that Jesus is a loaf of bread or a sheep farmer, or that the Father is a pile of rocks or a blast furnace? Of course not! These are simply metaphors used in Scripture to help communicate God’s character. Likewise, the unique descriptions attributed to the Holy Spirit do not imply that the Holy Spirit is merely some “force” or “power.” Jesus said this about the Holy Spirit: “When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all truth . . . He will tell you about the future” (John 16:13). Note the use of the pronoun he. The Holy Spirit has a distinct personality, and he also has specific work that he wants to do in our lives as followers of Jesus Christ. Explore what the Bible says about him. 1. Who the Holy Spirit Helps. The Holy Spirit strengthens and empowers followers of Christ (see Acts 2:1-40). 2. How the Holy Spirit Works with the Father and the Son. The Holy Spirit works alongside God the Father and Jesus, God’s Son, to make our lives pleasing to God (see 1 Peter 1:2). 3. Why God Gives Us the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit’s presence in our lives is God’s mark of ownership (see Ephes. 1:13-14). 4. How the Holy Spirit Works in Our Lives. The Holy Spirit draws us to Christ, enters our life at conversion, and empowers us as we allow him to work in our life (see John 14:15-17). 5. When the Holy Spirit Can Be Sinned Against. There are six specific ways we can sin against the Holy Spirit (see Acts 5:1-10). 6. Why Christians Need the Holy Spirit. Living the Christian life is impossible without the Holy Spirit’s help (see Galatians 5:16-26). I hope this helps GOD BLESS REX |

5 | MARK OF THE BEAST? | Not Specified | REX | 108483
RFID Tags Confirmed Down Under www.endtime.com RFID MEANS Radio Frequency IDentification After the alarm was sounded that RFID chips were being tested in Gillette razors in the United States, the company retreated. But it appears that they have merely transferred their spy chip testing to elsewhere--down under with Australia's largest retailer, Coles Myer. Is this the technology that will become the Mark of the Beast? And if so, how long will it be before it becomes a part of our society’s daily life? Testing and trial runs are the precursors to a chipped population, a population that will be unable to buy or sell without giving allegiance to the coming One-World Government. |

7 | Other Religions Just As Good As CHRISTAN | Bible general Archive 2 | REX | 108466
Aren’t Other Religions Just As Good As Christianity? Read Acts 4:12 Some people say that all religions basically say and teach the same thing, so they must all be “true.” To quote another well-used phrase, “If a person is really sincere in what he or she believes, he or she will get to heaven.” In reality, all belief systems cannot be true, because they contradict one another. Many would like to think that all religions blend together beautifully, but they do not. Look at the differences between what the followers of three major world religions believe compared with what Christians believe. The Existence of a Personal God. l Buddhists deny the existence of a personal God. l Hindus believe in two major gods, Vishnu and Siva, as well as in millions of lesser gods. l Muslims believe in one God named Allah. l Christians believe that God is a being who created humans in his own image and who loves them and wants to have a personal relationship with them. The Subject of Salvation. l Buddhists believe salvation is by self-effort only. l Hindus believe you achieve salvation by devotion, works, and self-control. l Muslims believe that people earn their own salvation and pay for their own sins. l Christians believe that Jesus Christ died for their sins. If people turn from their sins and follow Jesus, they can be forgiven and have the hope of being with Jesus in heaven. The Person of Jesus Christ. l Buddhists believe that Jesus Christ was a good teacher, though less important then Buddha. l Hindus believe that Jesus was just one of many incarnations—or sons—of God. Yet they also assert that Christ was not the unique Son of God. He was no more divine then any other man, and he did not die for people’s sins. l Muslims believe that Jesus Christ was the greatest of the prophets below Muhammad. In addition, they do not believe that Christ died for people’s sin. l Christians believe that Jesus is God as well as man, that he was sinless, and that he died to redeem humankind. As you can see, you cannot believe in all of the major religious beliefs. That is because each religion eventually contradicts the claims of Christianity [Fritz Ridenour, So What’s the Difference? (Glendale: Gospel Light Publications, 1967)]. I know this site is for asking questions or opinions on Biblical subjects that you are not clear on. But I have a series of questions in a New Believers Bible that are answered very well and true to the word of God. I hope that this question and answer helps someone seeking to know God and Truth. If no one objects I will post these questions on a regular basis. GOD BLESS all who read this. REX |

8 | Did Jesus ever drink wine? | Bible general Archive 2 | REX | 108435
This past sunday evening I attended one of our Church small groups. My wife and I brought three teenage boys whom are friends with my son,"which by the way just got saved about six months ago"to the group. We had communion. One of the boys asked me if Jesus ever drank wine. My answer was no. One of the things that was done to prepare for the pass over was to get rid of all leaven. Therefore the wine they drank would of had to be juice only.
9 | RAPTURE: PRE-TRIBULATION OR NOT? | Bible general Archive 2 | REX | 108266
I would like to thank everyone who responded to my question, RAPTURE: PRE-TRIBULATION OR NOT. My conclusion is that we (Christians) will go through the tribulation, which I believe has not yet begun. But we are at the threshold. I have come across one of the best web sites/ radio programs that can be found today check it out WWW. ENDTIME.COM. The Christians main concern should not be the rapture but the worship of the one and only True God and his son Jesus Christ our Savior and to spread Gods Word to the ends of the earth. Acts 1:8 But when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, you will receive power and will tell people about me everywhere—in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth." Today, for thousands of people the rapture and the tribulation will have no meaning in their life because today will be there last day on earth. God Bless REX |

10 | RAPTURE: PRE-TRIBULATION OR NOT? | Not Specified | REX | 108050
1 COR.15:52 It will happen in a moment, in the blinking of an eye, when the last trumpet is blown. For when the trumpet sounds, the Christians who have died will be raised with transformed bodies. And then we who are living will be transformed so that we will never die. Rev. 11:15 Then the seventh angel blew his trumpet, and there were loud voices shouting in heaven: "The whole world has now become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ, and he will reign forever and ever." Recently I have started a study on the rapture with an open mind. I have aproched this subject as if I have never heard a study on it before. The scripture listed above is the foundation that I started with. The question I want to answer is: at what point will the rapture take place?, with the tribulation pariod being the referance point. So far the only thing I can prove from scripture is, that the Christians will go through the tribulation. I'm not through researching so this is not my final conclusion. I started the research by searching the scripture on when the last trumpet would be blown. Can anyone tell me where the pre-rapture theory came from? I need this info. to complete my study. THANK YOU REX |
