1 who wrote Genesis? Genesis Psalm_139 84778
Moses authored the first 5 books of the Old Testament.
2 WAS THE ANGEL JESUS Genesis Psalm_139 84777
Different learned students of the Bible have different opinions. Jesus was there at the begineining, so it may be He is the Angel of the Lord. Also have read thoughts that the Priest of Melchizedek that met Abram was pre-incarnate Jesus as well.
3 why did James and John Mark 10:38 Psalm_139 84638
  MARK 10: 38-40, Matthew 20:20-28

Short version - they were human. It certainly appears from Jesus' comments that they didn't quite understand what they had been told, or what they were asking for. Matthew's account states they were prodded to ask for "preference". It may certainly be that they beleived his return and earthly kingdom would be immediate - remeber, these guys were Jews, and the Jewish perception of Messiah was an earthly King and conqueror. They did love Him, and He they, so perhaps there was some pride or selfishness creeping in.
