1 | nothing to do with witchcraft, sorcery | Ex 22:18 | Princess MJ | 168119
Dear Doc: Thanks for pointing this out, I think the more scripture pointed out about sorceries, or witch craft is very important to help others, whom are questioning it,to see the importance of staying away from sin........ We need to remember that ANY temptation entertained today becomes sin tomorrow, then a habit the next day, then death and separation from God. (see James 1:15) To think you could never become this evil (as they spoke about in Rev 9:20,21) is the first step toward a hard heart. We all need to Acknowledge our needs to confess our sins before God. Any How, Thank You Doc for being there to help others see the light. In His Grip Princess MJ |

2 | nothing to do with witchcraft, sorcery | Ex 22:18 | Princess MJ | 168003
See Exodus 22:18 God speaks very strongly about witchcraft and sorcery. Sorcery was punishable by death. it was a crime against God himself. To envoke evil powers violated the first commandment to "have no other gods." Sorcery was rebellion against God and his authority. In essence, it was teaming up with Satan instead of with God. See Leviticus 19:31, Leviticus 20:6 and 20:27. See Acts 19:18-19. Deuteronomy 18:10-13 You read all throught the new testament about unclean spirits. this means demon-possessed. we know that evil spirits can use the human body to distort and destroy man's relationship with God and our likeness to him. While it is important to recognize their evil activity so that we can stay away from demons, we should avoid any curiosity about involvement with demonic forces or the occult. See James 4:7 I could go on and on about this however I hope you will research the scripture I have given you and you decide yourself. In His Grip Princess MJ |

3 | the Spirit of Truth | John 7:17 | Princess MJ | 167662
Hi Sam: Through out History Man has gone to battle over this question. I do not feel there is one defined answer. However we know that the Bible does not conterdict itself. And there are somethings that just won't be answered until we are in Heaven. I do feel that God speaks to us through His word, in His time. example: Reading a passage and then a couple months later you read it again, and it like pops off the page at you with an understanding of it that applies to your own life. Well God has just spoken to you. Not to Joe down the street because Joe dosn't have the same problem you do. Thats where I see the problem comming into play. We need to work on ourselves and not Joe down the street. The Serenity Prayer says it all. God Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change (meaning other people) the courage to change the things I can (meaning myself) and the wisdom to know the difference. As a new Christian, my advise to you is to just work on your relationship with the Lord and don't get caught up in others understanding of the Word. Just let it speak to you. I hope this helps, It has helped me to overlook thoes things and to focuse on Him and me. In His Grip Princess MJ |

4 | Name some responsibilities Christian par | Eph 6:4 | Princess MJ | 167652
The purpose of parental discipline is to help children grow, not to exasperate and provoke them to anger or discouragement (see Colossians 3:21). Parenting is not easy-it takes lots of patience to raise children in a loving, Christ-honoring manner. But frustration and anger should not be causes for discipline. Instead, parents should act in love, treating their children as Jesus treats the people He loves. This is vital to children's development and to their understanding of what Christ is like. 5 | Can you tell me what is a "living sacrif | Rom 12:1 | Princess MJ | 167365
In the old Testament when sacrificing an animal according to God's law, a priest would kill the animal, cut it in pieces, and place it on the altar. Sacrifice was important, but even in the Old Testament God mad it clear that obedience from the heart was much more important (see 1Samuel 15:22 Psalm 40:6 Amos 5:21-24). God wants us to ofer ourselves, not animals, as living sacrifices-daily laying aside our own desires to follow him, putting all our energy and resources at his disposal and trusting him to guide us. We do this out of gratitude that our sins have been forgiven. God has good, acceptable, and perfect plans for his children.(see Jeremiah 29:11) He wants us to be transformed people with renewed minds, living to honor and obey him. Because he wants only what is best for us, and because he gave his Son to make our new lives possible, we should joyfully give ourselves as living sacrifices for his service. I hope this has helped you. In His Service Princess MJ |

6 | Did more than one God make man? | Bible general Archive 3 | Princess MJ | 167364
No this not indicate more than one God.I beleive this is refering to the trinity - God the Father, Jesus Christ his Son, and the Holy Spirit-All of whom are God. From Job 33:4 and Psalm 104:30, we do know that God's Spirit was present in the creation. From Colossians 1:16 we know that Christ, God's Son was at work in the creation. I hope this has helped you In His Service Princess MJ |

7 | Can salvation be lost? | Phil 2:12 | Princess MJ | 167352
Phil 2-12. "Therefore" ties this verse to the previous section. "Work out your own salvation," in light of the preceding exhortation to unity, may mean that the entire church was in discord. The Philippian Christians needed to be especially careful to obey Christ, now that Paul wasn't there to continually remind them about what was right. We too must be careful about what we believe and how we live, especially when we are on our own. In the absence of cherished Christian leaders, we must focus our attention and devotion even more on Christ so that we won't be sidetracked. As far as lossing your own salvation? You may get sidetracked (as most of us do once in a while) But God will never leave you or forsake you. "Deuteronomy 31:8 and Hebrews 13:5"
