1 | God speak to us?,if so,then why faith | Heb 11:1 | Nextman | 222025
That experience is the foundation of your faith. If you could not experience God in any ways, who would then believe? On the other hand, such an experience is not a scientific proof, and you don't always feel it, so you still need faith. |

2 | Praying to Jesus in Jesus' name? | NT general | Nextman | 222021
Only? Are you sure? That is quite an incredible and new point of view to me. The model prayer is of course the best prayer and an example for all time, but i'm not sure it is supposed to contain all possible forms of prayer. I also found 2 verses, where it seems to me that there is prayer to Jesus. "He who testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly: Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus." Rev 22:20 "And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who hath enabled me, for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry;" 1 Ti 1:12 Also whenever i read the Bible, I thought that the form of reference to God, as 'LORD' meant Jesus Christ. And there are a lot of prayers to the 'Lord' in the Bible. |

3 | left-handed men in bible | Judges | Nextman | 222017
I think left handedness was viewed as a disadvantage or even disability in that era. Even the Lord sets the sheep on the right, and the goats on the left at his judgement.(Mt 25.33) However, the almighty God could set his people free even through such a man, considered less by that time.
4 | Praying to Jesus in Jesus' name? | Not Specified | Nextman | 222015
when I pray I like to pray in Jesus' name. That gives me the right, the authority and courage to pray to the eternal God. I also like to pray personally to Jesus, since he is my saviour, and mediator to God. "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;" But does it make sense to pray to Jesus in Jesus' name? So that i would pray to my mediator by the authority he had given to me? In my earthly life i certainly would be surprised, if someone would ask something from me, and in my name. I would smile on that. |

6 | Who is Melchizedek? | Ps 110:7 | Nextman | 221963
This is also a prophecy about the return of Christ, as far as I understand. This psalm is like a part of the book of Revelation to me. Another question based on this psalm for me is, who is Melchizedek? Was he human, or an angel? Why he has the order of priesthood and not Christ? ("Without father, without mother, without descent, having neither beginning of days, nor end of life; but made like unto the Son of God; abideth a priest continually." Heb.7.3) |
