1 | Studying O.T. is creating problems. | Genesis | NWord | 84788
By the way, "show Himself" is not hearing Him with your physical ears, or seeing Him with your eyes. It means to make something come alive in your spirit or your heart. You will KNOW that it IS the true and Living God, Jesus the Anointed One, when it does happen. No one will be able to tell you that wasn't the real God.
2 | Studying O.T. is creating problems. | Genesis | NWord | 84787
That's pretty good. You are an "atheist" yet you know that Noah was told to take seven of the clean, the two was of the unclean. Most Christians teach that it was two by two. I think sometimes we listen to bedtime stories and don't look in the word for ourselves to see what is truth. You don't seem to me to be an atheist. I think you want to believe God is real. Look around you, Free Thinker. What do you see? You know there is a God by creation, by what you see. The Word says, we are without excuse, even those who have had no preacher. They know by looking at creation that there is a God. Rom 1:19 For that which is known about God is evident to them and made plain in their inner consciousness, because God [Himself] has shown it to them. Rom 1:20 For ever since the creation of the world His invisible nature and attributes, that is, His eternal power and divinity, have been made intelligible and clearly discernible in and through the things that have been made (His handiworks). So [men] are without excuse [altogether without any defense or justification], [Ps. 19: 1-4.] I give you a challange dear seeker of truth. Look up to Heaven and say, "If there is a God up there, show Yourself to me. Reveal yourself to me." Don't say it in a demanding way, or an arrogant way, but because you really would like to know. If you really want to know, I promise, my God will reveal Himself to you. If He does not do just exactly as I say, then tell Him that Lanette is a liar and lied to you. *laughs* He won't let that happen. Do it. I dare you. *grins* Get ready for something wonderful to happen, my friend! Rev 3:20 'Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will dine with him, and he with Me. When you sense that happening, just say, "Yes Lord, Come in. Come into my heart, Jesus." It's just that simple, and He will come in and change your life, and make it wonderful. Listen with your heart... NWord |

3 | Is Satan ruler over the earth? | Ps 24:1 | NWord | 83727
You need to learn to write your own stuff, instead of copying and pasting from what others say, that mostly doesn't line up with scripture.
4 | Tongues?Ecstatic Utterances or Languages | 2 Corinthians | NWord | 83587
Show scripture that that scripture in 1Cor 13:1 isn't a literal word. It does not say that it is a parable or any such thing. The burden of proof is on you, since you are the one disproving what that word says. :)
5 | How did Eve hear about the tree? | Gen 3:1 | NWord | 83578
Now, that I think about it. It was forbidden fruit. So, it won't be any fruit that we have ever had. It is still the tree of life and we won't have access to it, till we go to Heaven. Very Interesting thought.
6 | How did Eve hear about the tree? | Gen 3:1 | NWord | 83577
wow! That's an interesting question. I just looked and it only says God told Adam, and then he created the woman, and then enters the serpant. It doesn't say how Eve found out. She did say what she had apparently heard, but it doesn't say where she heard it.
7 | What fruit did Eve eat from the tree? | Gen 3:1 | NWord | 83576
NO where in the bible does it say what kind of fruit it was. It merely says, fruit.
8 | Was Eve really tricked? | Gen 3:1 | NWord | 83575

9 | Was Eve really tricked? | Gen 3:1 | NWord | 83574
1 Tim 2:14 And it was not Adam who was deceived, but the woman being deceived, fell into transgression. Deceived does mean tricked. The woman was tricked. Adam knew exactly what was going on. So, why did he eat? He didn't want to lose his woman, or what? |

10 | Tithing in the New Testament? | 2 Corinthians | NWord | 83573
There is nothing about tithing in the new testament that I can find. It does say to give though as God tells you. Treat those as you would like to be treated. Give and it will be given to you, pressed down, shaken together and running over, shall men give unto your bosem. Luke 6:38 "Give, and it will be given to you. They will pour into your lap a good measure--pressed down, shaken together, and running over. For by your standard of measure it will be measured to you in return." |

11 | Tongues?Ecstatic Utterances or Languages | 2 Corinthians | NWord | 83572
What do you mean by ecstatic? excited or what? I think glossa does mean the languages of the earth. 1 Cor 13:1 If I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but do not have love, I have become a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. That to me says the languages of men or of the earth, and the language of heaven. (angels) 2 1 Cor 14:21 In the Law it is written, "BY MEN OF STRANGE TONGUES AND BY THE LIPS OF STRANGERS I WILL SPEAK TO THIS PEOPLE, AND EVEN SO THEY WILL NOT LISTEN TO ME," says the Lord. |

14 | Clarity - Jesus being sin and in Heaven | 2 Corinthians | NWord | 83565
Thank you so very much! I was beginning to wonder if I was the only one here. LOL Ephesians 4:9 (Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth? That couldn't have been his body, that is talking about, because I think the tomb he was in was pretty much on top of the ground, though there could have been a few steps down. It wouldn't be considered the lower parts of the earth. So, the only thing left is his spirit, and or soul. ACTS 2 27 Because thou wilt not leave my soul in hell, neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption. In the amp version, it says, You will not abandon my soul leaving it helpless in Hades. Hades is just another word for hell in a different language. lol Maybe greek. In amp it says for corruption, decay or see destruction. I'd forgotten about this scripture. Though Jesus was in the ground, even, his body, as well as his soul in hell never saw one micro of corruption. That reminds me of the three Hebrew children in the fire, that not even their clothes were burnt. Amazing! 31 HE SEEING THIS BEFORE SPAKE OF THE RESURRECTION OF CHRIST, THAT HIS SOUL WAS NOT LEFT IN HELL, NEITHER DID HIS FLESH SEE CORRUPTION. 33 Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear. 34 For David is not ascended into the heavens: but he saith himself, The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, 35 Until I make thy foes thy footstool. 36 Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made the same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ. Proof he not only rose from the dead, and hell, but that He indeed went to Heaven, and now sits on the right hand of God. *Huggs* NWord |

15 | Is sickness from satan? | Job 2:7 | NWord | 83561
So, you listened to what people told you, instead of what was in your heart because you believe God failed you, when you didn't get healed? Is your life better or worse since you left the teaching you know to be true? If it has gone worse, you might want to reconsider what you are doing. I'm not judging you, or anything, just want you to think... Don't follow what people online are saying; follow what's in your heart. There is so much strife and fighting on this forum. That's not of God. Neither is it of God when someone puts down someone else's belief. What's in your heart? Do that and don't be swayed by unbeliving Christians. Not everyone has the mind of Christ. I think a lot of people have a lot of head knowledge and just don't know anything else. But, if I have results in my REAL life, that's what counts, not a bunch of head knowledge. Religious head knowldge won't get you healed. Head knowlege won't get rid of fear. Like the fear of loss, or the fear of rejection. Only the Word of God can set a person free, not religion. *huggggs* Norrie, NWord ldylanette@yahoo.com ps. sorry for calling inmyheart, inmyhead. Whoops. I misread. :) |

19 | Why leave to anoint Jesus' body Mk 16:1? | Mark 16:1 | NWord | 83545
Maybe they didn't know the tomb was sealed with a big boulder. I don't think that was the norm. The Religous leaders told them to seal the tomb so "the diciples couldn't steal Jesus body away and then say he was raised from the dead." The women probably didn't know that. (I have nothing against Jews incase any Jews are reading this, and might get offended.) NWord |

20 | Is sickness from satan? | Job 2:7 | NWord | 83544
Let's start with this scripture. I have this one memorized. John 10:10 The thief comes to steal, kill, and destroy, BUT, I came to give LIFE and that MORE ABUNDANTLY. Or, I come to bring you the EXCESSIVE LIFE. What falls into the catagory of stealing? If you lose your health? If your health was stolen from you? Who stole it? A thief! Thief, thief! Bring back my health! That's mine! Is stealing ever God's will? Religious minds over the years, because they could not figure out why everyone wasn't getting healed put on this holier than thou attitude and said, and I can hear the voice now. "It is not always God's will to heal, my son." What they are really saying is, I don't know how to get you healed, so I will tell you it's because it must not be God's will. Um, what a crock. *sweet smile* If you're not getting your healing, I can tell you why, and it has nothing to do with it's not God's will to heal. It is always God's will to heal. But, I'm getting ahead of myself. Going back to John 10:10 Who is the author of stealing, killing, and destroying? Bingo, you got it! Satan! So, if something falls in the catagory of stealing, killing or destroying, Satan, not God, is the cause of it. So, wouldn't it make sense to say, that God would be against anything that Satan is doing? Wouldn't His will be the opposite of the devils will, or whoever is stealing, killing and destroying? That would make sense to me. Does that make sense to you? NWord |
