1 | Correct way to condence several verses? | Not Specified | Mission Alphabet | 233684 | ||
I plan to use a few NSAB scriptures in a book that I will soon publish. I want to condense several verses into a few lines but keep the meaning. My question: Am I using the correct punctuation, capitalization, scripture citation. My example is: Concerning the birth of John the Baptist: “And his father Zacharias was filled with the Holy Spirit, and prophesied, saying: . . . ‘And you, child, will be called the prophet of the Most High; For you will go on before the Lord to prepare His ways . . .’ ” Luke 1:67, 76 |
