1 | Why does Satan believe he can win? | Bible general Archive 3 | John_Jacob | 166902
you understand, but evil in itself has not been created - let me explain. if i told you to turn on the lights, you would go to the wall and flip the switch. now, assume next i told you to turn on the dark, you can't turn on the dark, darkness is the absence of light. just like evil is the absence of good, satan/lucifer doesn't have any power to create, no matter what he chooses to do.
2 | explain in different words | Eccl 5:4 | John_Jacob | 166808
Okay, here is the verse for refrence, i have added the stuff in parenthasis it is my explanation. hope this helps! john. Ecc 5:4 When thou vowest a vow unto God, defer not to pay it (don’t forget to pay what you said you would/ or do what you said you would do); for he hath no pleasure in fools: pay that which thou hast vowed. Ecc 5:5 Better is it that thou shouldest not vow (it is better that you didn’t offer God anything, than you offered and didn’t “pay up”), than that thou shouldest vow and not pay. don’t forget to pay what you said you would/ or do what you said you would do it is better that you didn’t offer God anything, than you offered and didn’t “pay up”/do it |

4 | Why does Satan believe he can win? | Bible general Archive 3 | John_Jacob | 166805
It is in the Bible that God created "Satan", His (it has no gender but for understanding I will use this pronoun) name originally is Lucifer. Eph 3:9, Col 1:16, and Rev 4:11. He was the leader of the Heavenly Chior, the most Beatiful of all the angels. He was thrown down, away and out of God's Holy presence because He wanted to be God. Isa 14:12 How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! Isa 14:13 For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: Isa 14:14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High. Isa 14:15 Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit. As you've read Lucifer was created Holy, perfect, as are all God's Creations, but he had to go muddle (jack) things up by trying to be God, in short he sinned. nothing unholy/unperfect is to be in God's presence, so he got thrown away. He made the decision to messup, making him unperfect. hope this helps, john. |
