1 | God can use woman in the ministry? | Gal 3:28 | JHarris416 | 37677 | ||
It is difficult for some men to accept women's call to the ministry because they believe they have rule over women. Such men do not believe God would put a woman in an athoritative role because this would mean that she would be giving advise to men. They will avoid any scripture that disagrees with their belief, and when confronted with Scriptue such as Galatian 3:28, they will say it refers to the future situation in heaven, and not the present conditions on earth. There are no Scriptures that support their claim, but it doesn't matter. They will accept a man's call to the ministry who has no training and limited qualifications, but they have serious problems accepting women who say they are called to the ministry regardless of their knowledge or training. To say God calls only men to the ministry is not only nonesense, but it limits God's ability to do as He please. Additionally, it disagrees with God's Word ("In Him there is neither male nor female." Galatians 3:28). God looks for a servant who is willing to accept His call regardless of their gender. God calls whom He will when He will, and we are to accept His choice. We are not qualified nor authorized to dispute his choice simply because that choice happens to be a woman. That's God's choice, and His call is between Him and that woman; no one has the right to hinder her from following God's will for her life. Submitted By, Reverend James J. Harris |
