1 | where did God come from? | OT general | JEMS | 14075
God did not 'come' from anywhere, he always has existed. He has no beginning and no end. He is the "force" if you will, that all life is derived from. John 1:3 says "All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made." There is no existence or life outside of the powerful hand of God. It excites me that your son is this curious, but there are many out there that would attempt to drive him into vain teachings and searching 'within himself for truth'. Know that anything like that is entirely new age and will ultimately harm him more than anything good it could ever do. God is for sure beyond man's understanding or comprehension. He says in the book of Psalms "My ways are higher than your ways, and My thoughts are higher than your thoughts." We cannot hope to begin to understand Him in fullness except those parts of Him that He allows us to understand through study of His Word. His nature is spread through the entire Bible. The name 'God' does not define the force that He is. God IS the force. But He is a personal Being who desires a personal fellowship with every one of us through His Son Jesus. Does this answer your questions? :) |

2 | Dinosaurs | OT general | JEMS | 14073
The book of Job mentions dinosaurs (rather, describes them) and that is not surprising seeing as Job is the oldest book in the Bible. Read chapter 41 of Job. No animal that ever existed except the dinosaur can fit this description.
