1 | Where/How to start reading the Bible? | Not Specified | J2Praise | 177696
I am a new believer and am really looking to emerse myself in the word but I am not sure where to start. I'm not sure that starting with Genesis right now really makes sense for me considering the place I'm at in my life and what I am looking to find, so I'd like to start somewhere in the New Testament - any suggestions on where to start or how to go about the process of introducing myself at depth to scripture? Also, is it wrong to go into this process looking to get something in particular out of it? This isn't to say I am limiting myself to only that, but I am hoping to find particular information about forgiveness and God's unconditional love and acceptance of us (which obviously is there). I just don't know if going in with my own agenda is the right thing to do. Thanks! :)

3 | Did God walk the earth before Adam | John 1:1 | J2Praise | 177695
I suppose it is up to interpretation, but John 1-5 talks about God and Christ as the Word living before all else was created...does that mean he took some physical form to walk the earth - I'm not sure, but I guess what I'm suggesting is that here is a scripture that suggests that God created everything and all life is Him and comes from within Him, so in that sense maybe God didn't need to physically "walk" the earth, because it came from within him. In fact, maybe the term here that should be examined is "walked" - do we really mean laid foot or can we mean something else by walked? Just some thoughts - it may not be of much help.....
