1 | scripture supporting Trinity doctrine? | Ps 83:18 | IAM4YHWH | 155704
The trinity can be explained only in diverse human ways. It can not be explained from Scripture because it is not explained or even taught in Scripture. To me that word 'trinity' is an unsound word. Paul warned Timothy about using sound words when teaching truths (II Timoty 1:13). Following are just a few more unsound words used by man to explain the trinity doctrine: "eternal son", "God the son and God the Holy Spirit", "Jesus is God", "pre-existant son" and etc. None of these arangment of words are found in Scripture, but are mere "doctrines of men" (cf. Colossians 2:22; Matthew 15:9; Mark 7:7). For more information on the trinty and the pre-existence doctrines, please see my web page at: http://sg.geocities.com/Frank4YAHWEH .
2 | Different names used for God | Ps 83:18 | IAM4YHWH | 155702
I believe that there is only one name as Psalm 83:18 says. The word 'alone' is in reference to His Name and conveys the meaning that He only has one name, not many names. All other word references to Him would be mere attributable titles, not names. Note also that when Scripture gives reference to His Name it is always singlar (name), not names. The only occurrences in Scripture that a plural 'names' is used is in reference to deities (eg. idols, gods). Also, I would like you to especially note the scarlet coloured beast in Revelations full of blashemous names [plural] (Revelation 17:3). 3 | MANIFEST FATHERS NAME | Ps 83:18 | IAM4YHWH | 155693
I would agree that our Heavenly Father and Creator's Name is Yahweh. I have come to the knowledge though that the majority of scholars believe that the form 'Jehovah' is (and I quote) "an erronous transliteration", "a blunder", "an impossible transliteration, and "a hybrid name". Even the Watchtower and Bible Tract Society openly admit that the name Jehovah is errounous and more likely should be written in English as Yahweh.
