1 | Speaking In Tounges | Not Specified | GenerationBetrayed | 174156
How relevant is speaking in tounges? Isnt this the most unimportant spiritual gift that you can recieve out of all of them? Is it not also supposed to be done in private or with an interpater? I was going to a church (a good size one) and the paster on mulitiple occassions asked the entire church to start speaking in tounges, and for those who couldnt to try to and to let the words pour out. Deep inside it just felt wrong to me. I have not gone back to the church since and I have not taken the time to ask this question yet. Also, to me, it seems like it would chase a lot of people away, especially if it was their first time attending church. I could easily see it freaking some people out. I know it made me feel uncomfortable. Can anyone help me with this?

3 | Christianity, Religions and Confusion | Not Specified | GenerationBetrayed | 174155
I have a question on religion and concentrated areas. By this I mean Christianity is the bigest religion of this country, and people are more than likely to be a christian than something else. Over in Asia Buhhda is one of the main religions. How is a person raised to believe in the Buhhdism religion, from the moment he was born, made to believe so strongly, or any other religion for that matter... can it really be held against him if he hears one person say something small about God, maybe even see a bible, and the discredits it because he has been raised to believe something completely different his whole life? How is a person truely supposed to know? And also, since the bible teaches that one must accept Jesus Christ into his heart and ask for forgivness to make it to heaven... then what of muslims, catholics, mormons, ect? How do you know and chose which one is right, especially if you are taught a certain religion your whole life? How do we know Christianity is true over the others? How do muslims know their religion is true over the others? How?

5 | A Question related to free will | Not Specified | GenerationBetrayed | 174154
I have a friend who feels that it was horrible for God to create hell and free will, and in return cast those who dont believe or follow the rules into forever pain. He asked a couple of questions and I wasnt sure how to answer. He asked, if God supposidly knows everything, then before he created the devile, before he created each human, he already knows what will happen to us before we are even born. So why would God create a human being that he already knew was going to hell? Or maybe is it that God doesnt know where we are going? Maybe he only knows what circumstances will come along in our lives and which decision we make will effect the outcomes? Is that he just does not know which of the two outcomes will happen because he cannot know what decision we would choose? And if God is all loving and forgiving... why would he make hell, the worse pain and suffering thing ever, for eternity?
