| Dave, Don't allow anyone to persuade you as to who is going to hell or Heaven. That is purely not biblical. Only G-d knows who will receive eternal salvation. Maybe, what you have experienced are christians, being, maybe a little overly assertive, while witnessing for Christ. Just because one attends church (which is important) does not mean they are committed to the Christian way. We only know...by G-d's word...that if one does not repent,baptized and live a life according to G-ds' law...we will not enter the Kingdom of Heaven(eternal salvation). |

| (Sorry,I forgot) Further references; The Book of Life is mentioned in Psalm 69:28, along with the Lamb's Book. The plea of David blends with that of the Lord Jesus Christ in verses 19 to 28. Speaking of the leaders, the authorities, such as Caiaphas, who perpetrated His arrest and crucifixion, He pleads: 27 "Add iniquity unto their iniquity; And let them not come into thy righteousness, 28 Let them be blotted out of the book of life, And not be written with the righteous." This passage further reveals that names can be blotted out of the Book of Life. Based on all the references including the above I believe we can reasonably conclude that..."once saved always saved"....is not Biblical. |

| EdB, Thanks. Now let us look at Rev 22-19. Some say this applys to the book Of Rev only. I can't share that opinion because, changing any of G-d's word would be the same result.....watered down/changed/modified, redacted, etc. Those two cleary tells us that a name can be removed from G-ds book(s) of salvation. Do you agree? |

After your study do you agree that names can be removed from the Book of Life?(remember we did not have The Lamb under the Old Covenant (I don't know your thoughts but, I follow the rule that if the New Covenant does not modify/replace laws in the Old Covenant it is still law) |

| EdB, I make it a practice not to theorize about scripture. My CONCLUSIONS(NOT THEORY) are based on intent of scripture discerned by application of common sense. I am surprised at your questioning my CONCLUSION. As I have a moment I will pull together the applicable scriptures which I long ago reached that conclusion. In the meantime, since you question my discernment I would appreciate your conclusion(s) with respect to the two books.....with scripture references. If you are a member of the...'once saved always saved'.... group. A reply will not be helpful in furthering my understanding of the Bible. |
