1 | Why doesGod get angryANDdestroy nations? | Not Specified | Etoile | 67841
I have been involved in an educational project for a girl with special needs in which the main focus was not to judge her but to understand. So if she gets angry and throws a chair, we remain calm an non-judjemental of the incident, but instead try to understand how she may have been feeling. In every situation we are accepting of her and let her know what is right and wrong but in a way that does not show us reacting to her actions. She has developed in to a well behaved little girl, often more understanding of people around her than most other children. I started this project before going to Church and I can't understand why God is always so angry in the OT. Surely anger is an emotion that is evil not good and therefore is God is perfect and good, why does he get angry and destroy nations. I understand that His people keep committing sins, but isn't it more holy to keep forgiving and "turn the other cheek".
