4 | NEITHER POVERTY OR RICHES LEST I........ | Ecclesiastes | DoggieGrace | 43588
Ecclesiastes 30:7-9 Two things I asked of Thee before I die... Keep deception and lies far from me..... GIVE ME NEITHER POVERTY.... OR RICHES...... Feed me with the food that is MY PORTION, Lest I be FULL AND DENY THEE, and say , "Who is the Lord"? Or lest I be in WANT and steal and profane the name of my God. My comment is: BE CONTENT WITH WHAT YOUR PORTION IS. Paul in the New Testament said that he had LEARNED HOW to be CONTENT whether he was very poor or living well. It's not the condition that makes us sweet or bitter....it is the way we REACT and the ATTITUDE we have. GOD GIVES GRACE TO THE HUMBLE. Do you have financial blessings? Share them! Do you have financial needs? Be content and humble yourself looking to the Lord for what He will supply. SEEK YE FIRST THE KINGDOM OF GOD AND ALL THESE THINGS SHALL BE ADDED UNTO YOU. Ahhh...Sweet Contentment Have Jesus? Then you truly are a very RICH soul! |

6 | WILL FAMILY ACCEPT MORMON SPOUSE | Acts 1:1 | DoggieGrace | 43583
Your question is very complex. Willingly choosing to disobey God does have its consequences. However, God is always willing to forgive when we are willing to repent (turn around and live for Him and not ourselves) Also if we are truly born again believers, we know that when we sin and confess our sin, He is faithful and just to forgive our sins. (I John 1:9). You need counseling but you need it from a Biblical standpoint. I don't know what church affiliation you have. Since your husband is willing to go there with you, he must not be too sold out on his Mormon beliefs. Feel free to email me personally. Being a woman myself, I am at least willing to listen to you, pray for you, and ask the Lord for Scriptures that might encourage you. I pray the Holy Spirit will guide you into all truth. 8 | Acts 2:14a 36-47 | Luke 13:3 | DoggieGrace | 43577
Repentance is having a change of mind about the direction you are going. To repent from sin is to have a change of mind about to sin. But changing your mind must be followed by changing your walk. You cannot walk the Christian life on your own. You must have the power of the Holy Spirit indwelling you. This comes from realizing you are a sinner separated from God and that Jesus Christ, His Son, came to save you from your sins. You repent (change your mind) and ask Him to take control of your life. You confess your sin to Him and ask Him to take your sins away. When you are water baptized, you are giving the outward sign of what has already happened to the inward person. You have become a brand new creation in Christ Jesus. Now, you want to show that in word picture form. Romans 6 talks about how we are baptized into His death, burial, and raised up to NEWNESS OF LIFE. It is your testimony to others that you are NOT ashamed. It is completely identifying yourself with Him. In the Greek, the word is described as a white cloth being dipped in red dye and then taking on the color of the red dye. The Bible says we will be clothed in Jesus. He becomes our complete identity. Do you need Scripture references for all of this? Will you email me at DoggieGrace@msn.com ..... I would love to talk to you more about it. God bless you! |

11 | Is it wrong to believe in visions? | Bible general Archive 1 | DoggieGrace | 43568
I know the Word of God is complete, but it also says that in the Last days, your sons and your daughters shall prophesy and your young men shall see visions and your old men shall dream dreams (prophesied in Joel, repeated in Acts). If you would like to discuss all the aspects of this subject, bring it to our community and we'll discuss it there. To get the address, email me at DoggieGrace@msn.com
12 | Dress (clothing) at church? | Bible general Archive 1 | DoggieGrace | 43567
I know that in the Old Testament there is a Scripture that says "Worship the Lord in Holy Array" (Dress)...of course, the priests of the Old Testament had very specific directions about dress when they were in the temple. The New Testament is very clear that it is the INWARD man God is concerned about, not the OUTWARD appearances. Email me if you want to discuss more scriptures on our Bible community. 15 | what are the names of the keys of the kg | Bible general Archive 1 | DoggieGrace | 43564
Jesus told Peter that he gave him the keys of the kingdom. I don't know that it tells us anywhere that binding and loosening are the "names" of these keys. JESUS IS THE KEY. HE IS THE NAME ABOVE ALL NAMES. I believe that when Jesus said whatever we bind on earth has been bound in heaven and whatever we loose on earth has been loosed in heaven...is like telling us...that He is the binder and He is the one who loosens...it is like the PRAYER OF AGREEMENT WITH HIS WILL IN HEAVEN....Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.....When we seek His will and walk in His will, then we are doing His works - binding and loosening the powers of darkness. It's not our works, but HIS WORK within us as His vessels. I just believe it is UNITY with Him. Let me know if you want to discuss it more. My email is DoggieGrace@msn.com |

16 | Is it ok to question God after a tragety | Bible general Archive 1 | DoggieGrace | 43563
Yes, it is o.k. to question God. We have many Biblical examples of this. David questioned. Job questioned. Jeremiah questioned. Even JESUS questioned on the cross "Father, why has Thou forsaken Me?"...As long as the question takes You to God and His Word to find the answers...The question is your way of seeking God when you don't know what to do or why things happen. For sake of time, I'll stop here. If you want some Scriptures to back up some of the things I am commenting on, please email me at: DoggieGrace@msn.com. God bless you. Let us know if we can pray for the tragedy you are facing. Let me know on the email you send. |

17 | should red sea be reed sea instead ? | Bible general Archive 1 | DoggieGrace | 43562
Would it matter? If it wasn't as deep, then the miracle is that God still drowned all those Egyptians in it! There is always someone wanting to discount the Word of God. I know it is the Red Sea, but regardless, God delivered the Israelites by parting the sea and drowning their enemies. 4hope - email me sometime - I read your member profile and think we could enjoy chatting about the Lord. I manage a few Christian communities on the website. I know you are a busy lady, but you could come in and visit with us in the communities anytime! Email me if you would like to know more! 18 | Are we expected to keep the sabath? | Bible general Archive 1 | DoggieGrace | 43561
Jesus said in the New Testament under the New and Living Way of knowing the Father, through a personal relationship to Jesus, apart from the Old Testament law, that THE SABBATH was made FOR MAN and that He was the LORD OF THE SABBATH. Some believe that since the Jews celebrated the Sabbath on Saturday that we should do the same. Most Christians who celebrate the Lord's resurrection choose Sunday to worship Him and set apart for Him because this is when He rose from the dead, three days after the Friday He was crucified. The Bible also says that some people are convicted to honor certain days and others have a freedom not to. That seems strange, but that's the kind of freedom we have in Christ Jesus. He has set us free from the LAW OF SIN AND DEATH. We now choose to live a life that pleases Him out of our love for Him, not out of any obligation or fear of punishment. PERFECT LOVE CASTS OUT ALL FEAR. Email me if you want the Scripture references that I am referring to in this. DoggieGrace@msn.com

20 | other ways to reach my husband? | Bible general Archive 1 | DoggieGrace | 43557
Hi hopeful lady. Satan didn't want my answer to go through to you. The phone rang and I was cut off and I lost this really long message I had given you with scriptures and alot of encouragement. I know that I was telling you that it seems to me that you are doing everything right. I know you love your husband and you are carrying his burdens to prayer. I invited you to allow myself and other ladies to help carry your burdens in prayer. I wish it would all come back to me like I was typing before, but that's o.k. Maybe you will email me personally and I will ask the Lord to help me share it all with you again. I can be reached at DoggieGrace@msn.com God bless you! |
