6 | in exodus | Ex 3:14 | DOC Harmony | 199278
H3068 is the Hebrew tetragram. éäåä It is sad the Hebrew won't stay here when saved. The Hebrew tetragam is first used in Gen 4:1 when Eve has Kain and attributed to the "J" writer (if you believe the theory of multi authors)and used by him through deuterotomy. He than changes to Elohim. The tetragram left to right in Hebrew is yod het vav het and transliterated left to right YHVH. Why the W got placed there I don't know. Maby for the same reason Yeshua got changed to Jesus. There is no J in Hebrew! Think about it! Any way the tetragram is consonants only. The vouls have been lost in time or never mentioned as Jews don,t utter the name of G_d. G_d comes from the German name for G_d Gott. What did happen was the Hebrew text had vouls added to it by the Jewish Massorites. They added the voul points below the consonants (aoa) in Adonai (meaning Lord) so as to not write the true pronaunciation of the Devine (if there ever was one!). The i is a final yod. So you end up with the YaHoVaH. Do you see it? Play with it on paper. One Christian group didn't understand the Jewish trick and used this to name their denomination! In the Hebrew text the tetragram is written as such, or ' ' (yod yod) in prayer books, and pronounced Lord,Adonai or HaShem. Now you know "the rest of the story" Blessings DOC |

The answer by The devine is non descript, is it not? How can one describe the Devine in a name with all G_ds attributes? The answer is what it is, non descript. A Jewish Hebrew name uses this verse. HaShem in Hebrew means The(Ha) Name(Shem). The name that one would call The devine if one could put all the attributes, humility, personality, etc into it. We as humans cannot, hence HaShem answered I am whom I am. DOC
