My understanding is that in Isaiah verse, there were dual fulfilment instead of one. I am interested to know the word 'virgin' in Isaiah's time. Does the word indicate other meaning other what I have stated earlier. |

In the Isaiah 7:14, prophesy was made that a virgin will give birth to a son. On the word 'virgin' in Isaiah does it mean in this context a 'girl' or a 'young woman' who does not any sexual relationship with man. In Jewish context, the word 'virgin' is pretty strict but I wonder whether it is true that the woman who gave birth in the days of Isaiah is a 'virgin' ? | ||||||
