Bro. Ray, I hope I did not come across as not giving honor to where honor is due. My dear Bro. "Ito believe that Jesus was the son of GOD" and hope that no one interpreted me saying any different than that. I just believe by what the bible says that we too can be perfected by GOD. Jesus himself said "Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in Heaven is perfect" (King James Version Matthew 5:48). My belief is the death, burial, and resurection, I believe in true holiness. I also believe what the bible says about being heirs and joint heirs with Christ (KJV Romans 8:17)"if so be that we suffer with him, that we may also be glorified together". I just believe that there is deeper depths and higher heights in GOD. I mean when I read in (KJV) Ephesians 5:27 I can envision that one day GOD's word will come to pass "That might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be HOLY and without blemish". You know Ray this might be just for me (but I doubt that very much because GOD's people are many). Iread over in Matthew 19:26 " But Jesus beheld them, aand said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with GOD ALL things are possible". Any references I make to scripture is straight out of the King James Version (this is the only bible I read, you know we used KJV for years so it still serves it's purpose for me). It's hard for me to read alot of the others because through the translation sometimes people put their own interpretation in it. I like the scripture in 1John2:27 reads "But the anointing which ye have recieved of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teachethyou of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him". I enjoyed your e-mail Bro. Ray, hope to talk with you again soon. Your Brother in Christ, Bro. Tom |

3 | Question for you Both? | Bible general Archive 1 | Bro. Tom | 13560
Nolan, I appreciate your very freindly christian like response let me get one thing straight with you I believe that Jesus was the son of GOD. I also have to say with out Jesus I would not of had the chance to be saved. But, Jesus was not GOD eternal, no where in what you have stated to me thus far comes out and says Jesus was GOD. But, in plenty of areas it talks about his humanity. What I am trying to get across to you is Jesus had his own spirit. Do you believe there is a father and a son. Two! Iam not taking anything away from Jesus or GOD. All I am saying is we can live just like Jesus do you believe that? And, remember what I said GOD made Jesus God! So, I am not really sure what you are accusing me of. I would have to ask you to go back and answer my question's. Instead of sending me question's. I take it you don't believe Jesus had the same flesh you have? I am sorry Nolan we don't see eye to eye on this subject. But, a man that lack understanding let him ask GOD. I will not bother you an further. But, I pray that someone happens to stumble upon our conversation and GOD is able to remove the scales from their eyes! Love from above my brother, Bro. Tom |

4 | Question for you Both? | Bible general Archive 1 | Bro. Tom | 13552
Dearest Brother, Could you please explain to me what Hebrews5:-9 means to you? (Though he were a Son yet he learned obedience by the things which he suffered, And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him. 1st- You can't teach GOD obedience,2nd- You can't make GOD suffer. The scripture say's "being made perfect, he became" (not always was)If we read Hebrews2:7-10 it back's up what I am saying "made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death" "to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings" You can not make GOD suffer. I am not trying to take nothing away from GOD or Jesus(but there is a father and a son)it's just awesome the possibilites of a man with GOD are endless. If we read the 2nd Chapter of Acts we find that Jesus was a man approved of GOD(remember "this is my beloved son in whom I am well pleased"Matthew17:5)It also talks about how GOD raised Jesus up(once again that's two)And to top it off it says "that GOD hath made that same Jesus"(GOD made Jesus). Now, back to Jesus being a man born with the same type of flesh as you and I (refer to 1Cornithians15:39 one kind of flesh of men) now no one wants to see this because it means you will have to measure up to the man Jesus. We can be just like Jesus if we allow GOD to take up his abode in us as Jesus did. And, come to the realization that we can be made perfect too if if we allow GOD to lead and guide us in everything. Read Matthew5:48 " Be ye therefore perfect even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.(In my bible this is in red print, Jesus very words telling me to be perfect).Looking at your reference to to Colossians2:9 let us read this again starting at vs.1 paying particular attention to vs.2,3,8 and then 9. In reference to your comment about being a "false teacher", this is not something you want to get into a habit of doing. Unless, GOD tell's you a certain individual is a "false teacher" , and I know GOD did not tell you that did he? You did ask him didn't you? You might want to read Hebrews13:2(GOD taught me along time ago you have to be careful of what you say). Proverbs21:23 Don't be so quick to judge the words I speak. I speak these words, I speak because I see Jesus and know the truth! Show me where in the scripture where it says Jesus was GOD and I'll stop speaking like this. But, I invite you to search the scriptures(in them are life, Jesus said I give you life more abundantly) in several places in the bible it tells us Jesus was a man. Grace be with you my brothers, Bro. Tom |

5 | Where did Jesus get His blood from | Bible general Archive 1 | Bro. Tom | 13484
Dear Brother, I have read the responses that your orginal question has sparred and thought that I must share with you and the others what GOD has shared with me. True enough Jesus recieved his blood from his mother (Mary). Because, we know that GOD is a spirit and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth(John4:24)Now as far as sin in the blood I don't believe that the bible say's that but, that sin is in the flesh of which every man is born in. And there is only one flesh of men(1Cornithians15:39). Because of the first man Adam we are all born in sin, but because the second man JESUS shed his blood for us it cleanses us from that sin(It's GOD'S plan if you have a problem with the way GOD done you could discuss that with him).Concerning the statement made about the children, they are born with the same sinful flesh. Thus, I believe the message JESUS was trying to get to his apostles was that they needed to be as humble as the children in order to make it in to the Kingdom.(You are referring to the question the apostles asked Jesus about who would be the greatest in the kingdom of heaven (Matthew18:1-4). There is no difference between Adam's flesh and JESUS flesh except this that Adam heeded to his flesh and Jesus put his flesh under subjection.(Jesus was tempted yet without sin)YOU CAN NOT TEMPT GOD!!! Now addressing some of the other responses you recieved there is a father and a son (not a father that became a son and then became a father again).Jesus was not GOD, therefore Jesus was not born perfect but made perfect refer to Hebrews5:8-9. He was a man just as you and I(1Cornithians15:39, one kind of flesh of men). He was a man approved of GOD(Acts2:22). If you look at the promise made to King David by GOD thru the prophet Nathan(2Samuel7:12,out of thy bowels)Also, read Romans1:3(seed of David according to the flesh). Search the scriptures so you might know the truth Acts2:32(This Jesus hath GOD raised up)GOD raised himself up? Of, course not. There's two a father and a son! Acts2:36(that GOD hath made that same Jesus(GOD made himself?)Acts2:22(miracles that GOD did by him)Isn't that two? GOD made JESUS GOD after he perfected him in GOD's righteousness, not man's righteousness. Anyone that stumbles across this letter I have written to you surely should pray and ask GOD what is the TRUTH about our Lord and Saviour!! I will check in periodically to see if anyone has any question's for me concerning this letter that I might be able to answer. Peace unto you all, Bro. Tom |
