1 | status of those who did not cross over | Josh 1:1 | BB3 | 179598
Suggest reading Hebrews 3:17-4:3 which indicates that they did not enter because of unbelief and did not enter His rest. They heard but did not believe. The word they heard was not united with faith. Caleb and Joshua most certainly were believers and entered. The rest, that fell, would seem to have no legitimate claim to eternity with God. |

2 | philippian s chapter1 verse 3 | Acts 16:12 | BB3 | 179597
Recommend reading Acts 16:12-40...the "saints" that he thanked God for included Lydia and the jailer. Paul and Silas experienced the power of God to move in the hearts of the people of Phillipi as well as to cause an earthquake to free them from prison. Paul gives thanks to God every time he thinks of these dear saints because God was behind it all. Hope this enhances your understanding! bradb |
