1 | No marriage b/c we are bride of Jesus? | Mark 12:25 | Austin Floyd | 233122
They question is no how it would work, but why would you need it or care? For help? Nope. For procreation? Nope. For "deeper" love? Nope. For "pleasure"? Nope. For care and understanding? Nope. For a representation of Christ's relationship to the Church? Nope. All of those things will be fulfilled sublimely, whether married, engaged or single. He's resurrecting "flesh" and removing us from the very presence of sin. If you are "one flesh", you were married; if you were single, you are still "one flesh".

He doesn't need to ask, but He has to accomplish His will. His will is that we love God and love others. It is also that He punishes evil. How does Job end? Did He accomplish that in Job praying for his wretched friends when they didn't deserve it, or everyone restoring Jobs fortune after he had lost everything? Did He not make Satan look foolish and powerless or Job's friends foolish and short-sighted and yet, still accomplish his ultimate will? Did He not use all things--including Satan--for Job's ultimate good and evil's ultimate demise? Surely He did. The fact that He has to entice the Devil to do something (and limits Satan's power), is not a short-coming on His part. It's a display of His dominion over all things, even Satan who has/had no intention of helping God accomplish His will. But, He did.
