1 | How do I know it's gods voice, and path? | 2 Tim 3:16 | Aliennow | 162541
Dear He, God will close doors that He does not want us to go through and He will open other doors that will guide you down the path he has for you. Always be in prayer and Bible study, but also spend quiet time with God where He can speak to you. |

2 | speaking in tongues | Bible general Archive 3 | Aliennow | 162540
Dear Kane, God certainly does give us spiritual gifts, but not all of us will be able to speak in tongues. If this gift is given to you, you will know. 1 Corinthians 12:7-11 "7Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good. 8To one there is given through the Spirit the message of wisdom, to another the message of knowledge by means of the same Spirit, 9to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by that one Spirit, 10to another miraculous powers, to another prophecy, to another distinguishing between spirits, to another speaking in different kinds of tongues,[a] and to still another the interpretation of tongues.[b] 11All these are the work of one and the same Spirit, and he gives them to each one, just as he determines. Please read the rest of this chapter in Corinthians also. |

Thank you for your help both with scripture referances and archives. I had searched the archives, but was not using the right search words. Blessings, Aliennow |

4 | Sin | Not Specified | Aliennow | 162302
I have been studying Ezekiel 18 and have become confused about sin. Are we not born sinful in nature because of the original sin of Adam and Eve? If I understand Ezekiel 18 right we are no longer being held accountable for original sin or sins passed on through the generations, but only those sins we commit. |

6 | Was Judas Iscariot a believer? | Matt 5:13 | Aliennow | 161168
Wow thanks alot! You have explained this in a way I can truly understand. I also looked back at the order of events and Judas chose to betray Christ before Satan ever entered his body. God Bless You, Aliennow |

7 | Was Judas Iscariot a believer? | Matt 5:13 | Aliennow | 161167
Thank you Brad, I understand that he did not actually repent now to God. Aliennow |

8 | Was Judas Iscariot a believer? | Matt 5:13 | Aliennow | 161166
Thank you I can see that Judas did not repent to Christ, but that he still would have been under the old laws. Right? James speaks to us from the new law that if we repent and turn from that sin we are forgiven. I struggle with suicide being a sin. I can not find anywhere in the Bible that talks specifically about suicide. Is it because we murder and therefore are unable to repent that it is considered sin or something else? Thanks for helping me clarify a few things. God is truly speaking through you! Aliennow |

9 | Was Judas Iscariot a believer? | Matt 5:13 | Aliennow | 161165
But James is speaking to us after the New Covenant is in effect. In the Old Covenant sins were forgiven by other means. Do you think that God allowed Judas to sin as an example to us? I know well that God does not tempt us today or does not lead us to sin. Thanks, Aliennow |

10 | Was Judas Iscariot a believer? | Matt 5:13 | Aliennow | 160470
Kalos, I am still confused about Judas. I see now that according to John he was not a believer. John 6:63-64 ""'The Spirit gives life; the flesh counts for nothing. The words I have spoken to you are spirit and they are life. Yet there are some of you who do not believe.' For Jesus had known from the beginning which of them did not believe and who would betray him." But if Christ already knew that Judas would betray him then Judas would not have had free will and therefore could not have avoided betraying Jesus. If I understand Matthew 27:3-4 "When Judas, who had betrayed him, saw that Jesus was condemned, he was seized with remorse and returned the thirty silver coins to the chief priests and the elders. "I have sinned," he said, "for I have betrayed innocent blood." It seems to me by admitting his sin he did repent. Also if Judas was sent to hell for his betrayal, and it was necessary for the saving death of Christ, then why is Judas suffering for saving humanity. If he is in hell then it seems he would be suffering more for humanity. Thanks, Aliennow |

11 | WHAT IS TRUTH? | Eph 4:15 | Aliennow | 160437
I am not sure that all Christians are afraid to tell the truth about sin, but was wondering if you meant to other people or to God? Truth and Love means: Proverbs 12:17-19 "A truthful witness gives honest testimony, but a false witness tells lies. Reckless words pierce like a sword, but the tongue of the wise brings healing. Truthful lips endure forever, but a lying tongue lasts only a moment. Matthew 22:38-40 "This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments." |

12 | Paradise on earth | Revelation | Aliennow | 160328
When you speak of Paradise do you mean as in the Garden of Eden or as in heaven? I would start in Revelations 21 to read about the New Jerusalem. |

13 | What are the things? | Heb 6:9 | Aliennow | 160323
Yes, I have been given my "green card"! It is awesome to live life daily knowing that if it ends now I will be with Christ! I did take your comment more harshly then I should have. I thought a little more grace would be extended to those who are new to the forum, but felt instantly persecuted. I now see that you were only trying to help, so thanks! In Christ's Love, Aliennow |

14 | What are the things? | Heb 6:9 | Aliennow | 160322
Everyday is for me and I pray for you. I have been posting for what 2 weeks now and have met with alot of criticism. Not sure I have been given proper time to learn the forum before I was persecuted, but hey that is okay. It is not me who has tough skin, but the Holy Spirit within me that speaks for me. In other forums quoting scripture has proved to be infertile, because so many people interpret in different ways or they hen peck the scripture and take it out of context to make a point. Anyway thanks for the advice. In Christ's Love, Aliennow |

Job 6:23 "23 deliver me from the hand of the enemy, ransom me from the clutches of the ruthless'?" Satan tries to hold us for Ransom or as I define it a prisoner and Christ has paid the price for us already. |

16 | Adam's or God's likeness? | Gen 5:3 | Aliennow | 160230
Abraham was made in the image of God and it follows down through the generations to Seth. Cain and Abel were also made in the image of God - we all are.
17 | What are the things? | Heb 6:9 | Aliennow | 160229
I can clearly see that you have a healthy relationship with Jesus Christ! Actually I do consider myself non-denominational if that is what you mean by "religion". I agree religions are flawed and probably could not fit into the truths you have posted. Thanks for asking about my salvation. Five years ago I suffered from panic and anxiety, and although I was raised in a Christian home, I did not have a personal relationship with Christ. I will never forget the night that the Holy Spirit entered my body and I was re-born! My salvation is secure and I know where I am going when I die. Blessings, Aliennow (I wonder if my handle has anything to do with what people think of me?) |

18 | Living Life | Bible general Archive 3 | Aliennow | 160220
I believe that God gave us a purpose in our lives and if we choose to follow Him, we are following His plan for us, and He will be with us every step of the way. He did take into consideration our free will and I believe that is why Christ died for our sins, because God knew Satan would hold us for ransom. If you are living everyday for God then I believe you are fulfilling His plan for your life. Blessings, Aliennow |

19 | Using Love as Jesus | Bible general Archive 3 | Aliennow | 160218
It is prayer for someone in need. It is helping the homeless find shelter. It is standing up for that one kid in school who is picked on. It is helping out somebody financially when they are struggling. It is honoring our father and mother. Jesus would be hanging around with those who are in need or are less fortunate. He would be hanging with the crowds that do not know Him and witnessing to them. He would not stay contained within the 4 walls of one church building, but would see the church as a whole. When you think of what Jesus is doing today, think of love! Blessings, Aliennow |

20 | What are the things? | Heb 6:9 | Aliennow | 160214
That is awesome! Great Testimony! My religion believes in all of the above! It is great to hear that somebody else looks to God to see what they can do for Him, instead of what He can do for us today. Blessings, Aliennow |
