No offense taken brother. My question about satan's job as worshipper was not to put focus on him. We are commanded to worship with (1) understanding and (2) in spirit and truth (John4) As worshippers we must understand the importance of having a pure heart and attitude in worship. If we understand that satan as the first worship leader was cast down because of pride, then we must conclude that we should guard our hearts (Proverbs 4:23) from the things that would pollute our worship. If we understand that, then we are able to discern, recognize, repent and continuously seek him diligently and whole heartedly. True Worship is a relationship that excels out of pureness, diligence, intimacy, obedience and revelation. So we must also know and recognize how flesh can hinder us in achieving that. And what can happen when we let it get in the way. God expects us to sing praises in a skillful psalm and with understanding. Worship is nothing to take lightly, that is the focus, not satan. For out of my belly shall flow rivers of living waters. Praise and Worship tears down walls. (Jericho) and fights battles. So we must be armed with praise. If it is weak, so is our fight. The words that come from our mouths and hearts release victory/or defeat. "The power of death and life is on the tip of our tongue" | ||||||
