	I'm not sure what you are asking. The 'church' is the body of Christ. And it does, and should operate exactly as you see the members of the church operating in the book of Acts. Are you asking about buildings and places of worship? Or of certain groups of followers? I'm not sure if you mean the body of Christ, or if you mean places where the body meets on this earth. 	The shortest way to answer your question is YES, we definitly should visit the sick, in Mat 25:36-40 Jesus clearly tells us that that is part of our work as a Christian. He goes so much as to say that those who don't, will be put into everlasting fire. So Yes, definitly, we should visit the sick. And remmber what Jesus said in Mark's gospel, that those who believe on Him would lay hands on the sick, and the sick would recover, so obviuosly, we have to visit the sick, if we are to see them healed! 	What is being said in this verse, is that Jesus is saying he is equal with God. In John 10:30 Jesus said that He and His father are one. Philipians 2:6 says the same thing. God Bless, Mitch

	In Philipians 4:17 we see that Paul says this particular church communicated with him on giving and recieving more than any other, actually, they were the only ones to do just that. Paul goes on to say that even when he was in Thessalonica they sent unto him, not becuase he wanted a gift, but because he wanted fruit to abound to their account. As a minister of the Gospel we can say that the tithe belongs to God. It doesn't matter who you are, 10 percent of all your increase belongs unto the Lord. However, when it comes to giving other than that, it is something every Christian should do, but here is a good place to read how it should be done. 2 Cor 9:7-8 says to let every man give according to his heart, not grudgeingly or of necessity, for God loves a cheerful giver. He goes on to say that when a person gives cheerfully, that God is able to make all grace abound to that person, so that they can be all sufficient in all things, they will have no lack or want. And they will have no lack financially, so that they can then abound to every good work. There is nothing wrong with giving an offering, as a matter of fact, since God loves a cheerful giver, and since giving means we are advancing the kingdom of God, every Christian man or women should be overjoyed when its time to collect an offering. They should be as overjoyed at being able to give, as they would be if someone handed them one million dollars. Hope this helped, Mitch

	Are you wanting to know who Acts 2 applies to? If thats your question, thats a simple one, it applies to all believers today. Acts 2 starts off with the day of Pentecost in wich the first believers, ( about 120 as it says ) were filled, or immersed in the Holy Ghost, they began to speak with other tongues as the Spirit gave them utterance. These were born again men and women who were awaiting the promise of the Holy Ghost that Jesus had told them of in the First chapter of Acts. So the baptism of the HOly Ghost, with the evidence of speaking in other tongues, is for all believers since that day. That was the first day it happened, it was the moment God poured out his Spirit upon all flesh! Hope that helped you, Mitch

	When a person confesses that Jesus Christ as their Lord, they recieve the Spirit of Truth within themselves. However, there is a secondary baptism ( which means immersion ) in the Holy Ghost which comes after you believed upon the name of JEsus (Acts 2:1-4 ) When you recieve something from God, you recieve it, however we know that man can backslide, and fall away from God.. so I would assume if you get into that condition, then the HOly Ghost will not be dwelling within you. But as for a Christian, they don't have to ask everyday to be filled. It is never bad to ask for more of God in your life, but once you recieve the Holy Ghost, as they did in Acts 2:4, they had the Holy Ghost, And what do you mean by different dosages? God Bless, Mitch

	The Question wasn't directed at me, but if you like, I can tell you what those Scriptures in James are referring to.. however I wont bother discussing what Brother Hagin wrote, no need to talk about what he said when we can read the Word for ourselves :) Brother Hagin might be great to learn by, he has lots of material out there with a wealth of information in it.. however since so many on this forum detest him, we should just talk about the Word, and not the man... don't you agree?

	I read this article here. Source: http://www.kcm.org/studycenter/articles/faith_hope/suffering_with_christ.php As you have probably experienced, any time we are walking in the Word and fellowshiping with the Father, Satan will do his best to stop us. He wants to stop this spiritual relationship. He knows as we receive revelation knowledge into our spirit, we will learn to lord over him in the physical and mental realms. Then his tactics to put us under the law of sin and death will be futile (Romans 8:2). Brother Copeland isn't saying that the devil won't attack you physcially, he is saying you don't have to stay in a position of defeat. He clearly acknowledges that we will be tested by the devil, and that the devil will try to bring things on us to defeat us, but we suffer through it by submitting to God, resisting the devil, and he will flee from us. Read it again brother, Brother Copeland does not deny the tactics of the devil. He does however say first that the suffering with Christ does not mean physcial and mental suffering, and then he goes on to talk about suffering attacks from the devil. Suffering with Christ, certainly can't be physical, unless Christ is suffering physcially right now. However, there is suffering we go through for the Word's sake. Which brother Copeland does point out. However like I said, and like he said, we resis the devil's attempts to bring us under the law of sin and death, we stay in the Word, and we'll be delivered out of it all. God Bless, Mitch

	So then its your opinion that JEsus is suffersing physically and mentally, is he suffering financially as well? Because if we are to suffer with him, then he must be going through the same that we are. And yes 2 Tim 2:9 Paul points out that he has been persecuted to the point that he has even been in bonds. 1 Peter 4:15 says that we not to suffer as an evildoer, which Paul clearly states in this passage in Timothy that he did suffer as an evildoer, so he did half to resist what the devil was trying to do to him, to kill him, to keep him quiet about the Truth. Thats what Brother Copeland was writing , is that our suffering, is resisting those things that Jesus has delivered us from. So YES, again, its very scriptual. And again, your scripture reference in Peter is saying the same thing. what Brother Copeland is saying, and what the Word is showing us, is that we do not have to stay defeated, the devil may come in and stir up a little trouble, thats what he does, he's the author of sickness and disesase and all forms of trouble, however our suffering, what we must do, is resit what he is trying to bring upon us. We have to resist temptation to sin against God, in the same manner we have to resist being pulled down under the curse and being bound by beatings or poverty, or sickness, or anything else that God does not want us to have. So yes, Brother Copeland is right on in that article, I'm glad you found it, its a good one to read and then study those scriptures which he pointed out. God Bless, Mitch

	Tim, I don't like to deal in illegal material. Sorry, but I won't be answering any questions from that website. I'm a Christian man, and as such, I follow the law. If you can find that quote in an article or on a sermon at www.kcm.org I'd be more than happy to discuss it though. But I refuse to worry about what some illegal run immoral website has to offer. Perhaps I made a mistake by mentioning that website, but I was just wanting to point out how they claim they are doing a good Christian work, yet they are breaking the law. 	A Christian can still be affected by the curse, but they do not have to be. Even in the Old Testament when the blessing and the curse was laid out to Israel, we read the condition was If you hearken to the voice of the Lord and do those things that he commands, then these blessing will come upon you and overtake you. (Deu 28:2) However, if they did not listen and do as God commanded, then the curse would come upon them. (Deu 28:15 ) Now, Jesus has redemmed us from the curse part of that old law. We are to live soley in the blessings, however, if we disobey what God's Word says, then yes, the curse can still come upon us. Jesus just made it easy to fulfill the law by saying Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul mind and strength, and your neighbor as yourself. Upon these two hang ALL the law and prophets. ( Matt 22:37 - 40 ) So if we don't fullfill this most important commandments, then we are not doing the will of God, and thus we are not under the protection of the Father. Meaning the curse will overtake you, in some or even all of its forms which include as Deu 28 points out, poverty and every form of sickness. So in short, yes, we can fall under a curse if we do not keep the Word of the Lord, but if we walk by Faith, and live the Word of God in our lives, then we walk free of all curses, we walk in a place of prosperity and divine health, and that Wicked one touches us not! ( 1 John 5:18 ) So as I said, jesus redemed us from the curse, we do not have to put up with anything that the curse involves, just like he has redeemed us of our sins, and we don't have to live a sinful life, however, if we don't obey his word, then we are in sin, and sin is the cause of the curse. 	I would have to say that the best thing do is read through 1 Peter Chapter 3. The first few verses talk about the impact a woman of faith can have on an unbelieving husband. Remember, when you are subject to him though, God comes first for you. YOu don't have to submit to the point to where you give up your walk with God. People tend to think submit is such a bad word, its not. A good dictionary, such as Vine's will expose that word for you better. God Bless! Mitch

	Its always hard dealing with these issues with nonbelievers. As you and I know, God is full of love and compassion. However there are things that happen to good innocent people in this world, take for instance abortion. Around 5000 children are slaughtered each day by Abortion. The best thing I could think of for you to tell him, is that God did not create us to be puppets. He has given us the power of life and death ( Proverbs 18:21 ) Also remember that Paul said that if our gospel is hidden, its hidden to them whom the god of this world has blinded their eyes. ( 2 Cor 4:3,4 ) The best thing you can do is allow the Love of God to display through you, in the way you treat this man, and the way you treat everyone else. He will see the Love. Jesus said so himself. ( John 17:23 ) The bad things that happen in this life we can never blame on God. We know that the Bible says God is Love (1 John 4:8) God doesn't send any sickness or disease, or poverty upon anyone. The devil is the one who does all that. ( John 10:10 ) I guess what I'm saying, is that if this person is hard of hearing, and wont let you tell him that God is full of love, and its not his will for these things to happen, but these things do happen, because God's laws have been violated, then your best bet is just to pray for this person, and walk in Love with them. 	As a good start for helping with the fear of rejection, or any fear for that matter, I'd suggest reading the entire book of 1 John in the New Testament. John writes in this book on the Love of God, and in Chapter 4 verse 18 he goes as far as to say that Perfect Love (the God love ) casts out fear. These scriptures should be very helpful for you. But don't just read them, take time to think about them, take some time to try to remember some of them. And speak them over yourself. You have what the Word says you have. For instance read through the 4th Chapter, and begin to say "God is Love, and I'm his child, I live in him, therefore his perfect Love casts out all fear from me. I have no fear. I have no hurts, because his perfected love has cast out fear" HOpe this helps you Mitch

	Brother, this scripture means That Jesus bore our sins in his own body. Meaning that he took upon himself our sin, and the punishment for it. And it also means, that by his stripes, by the wounds he was given, we were healed spiritually, as well as we were healed physically. It means we have a right to resist sickness and disease in this world, because we are seated at the right hand of God in Christ Jesus , and the enemy and the curse, has no hold over us any longer. 	In 1 Peter 2:24 the Word is talking about being healed physically. So yes, Just as Isaiah prophesied when he said Isa 53:4 Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. Isa 53:5 But he [was] wounded for our transgressions, [he was] bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace [was] upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. Thats a pretty sure statement that Jesus died for our healing as well as for sin. Lets look at : Rom 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. In the Greek the word saved is sozo which can be translated delivered, healed (physical healing) , save from disease, preserve So yes, Jesus died and took our sin, which sin, is what brought the curse upon the whole Earth. And the curse, contains sickness. Let no one tell you that God sends sickness upon his children. I wouldn't let anyone say that about my natural father, neither would you I'm sure. So don't allow others to tell you that about your heavenly father either. Hope this has helped you! Mitch
