| On October 30, 1982...my oldest and beloved son ran his car up into a secluded area of woods in South Central CT...a talented fine young man who had lost his since of direction...He did not know the Lord...He was headed toa Halloween party...in the car were jugs of wine and a costume...He took a hose and ran it up through his trunk into the car...he calmly sat and waitedfor death to take him...a few months later attached to one of his paintings was note...in it it read...dear dad you will never understand this, but life is so dark...I feel hopeless...I hope this is the easy road...it has been 20 years and everyday I think of him...I was not a Christian when he died...to many...he lives in an eternal fire...my pastor said we would have to wait until judgement day...I pray that he heard God's voice before he succumbed...Life is so fragile...my son, my son...I miss you...from a believer...brother joe | ||||||

| Jesus said;"when I return to my father in Heaven, I will send you a comforter who will make known all things."(paraphrase) They could not have received the Holy Spirit...Christ had not yet returned to His Father in Heaven...When He sat down...this signafied that His work was finished...although He said it was finished on the Cross as well...He had accomplished what the Father had sent Him to do...However, He had to be exalted first and be raised up by God as the first born from the dead...thus destroying Satan's hold on man...with the indwelling of the HS this was accoplished... | ||||||
