1 | Do you have to be baptized to be saved? | Rom 6:3 | Nehemiah | 9287
In acts2 (read the FULL chapter) you are given your instruction under the new covenant for our salvation. Some have mentioned that there were some who weren't baptised. But our law is in the new covenant. It instructs us to "be baptised everyone of you and receive the gift of the Holy Spirit". Our instruction is to be baptised of water, then of the Holy Spirit. Before we are baptised in the spirit we are to REPENT. That is our key to salvation. The repentance. It is not possible to repent in our own natural flesh. REPENT means (in hebrew/greek) to change our minds. How can we do that naturally. It is not possible. The Holy Spirit is the power that will enable us to do that.
2 | Judgment of Infants? | Bible general Archive 1 | Nehemiah | 6158
Luke 18:16 But Jesus called for them, saying, "Permit the children to come to Me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. Anyone who is innocent shall enter the kingdom. For all children of God there is eternal life. How then will they die and remain dead until resorection. In comfort to parents who have lost children, please do not beleive any foolishness. We know that we are living saved so that our children, children's children and so on may have the promise and enheritence. It would not even be worth living anymore to a parent who has barried a child except to know that our children are living in the spledor and glory of the Lord Jesus Christ. If you have faith in God's Word then you already know this. |

3 | Please explain this verse? Mark 15:34 | Mark 15:34 | Nehemiah | 3920
Jesus was in flesh. However, it was clear that even at Calvery he could have called upon his own power and unleashed all of the angels in the heaven. But instead he morned and allowed that flesh to suffer.
4 | Tongues,where scriptures | Acts 2:1 | Nehemiah | 5042
Mark 16:17 "These signs will accompany those who havebelieved: in My name they will cast out demons, they will speak with new tongues; Acts 2:3 And there appeared to them tongues as of fire distributing themselves, and they rested on each one of them. Acts 2:4 And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spiri was giving them utterance. Acts 19:6 And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Spirit came on them, and they began speaking with tongues and prophesying. 1 cor:12;3 Therefore I make known to you that no one speaking by the Spirit of God says, "Jesus is accursed"; and no one can say, "Jesus is Lord," except by the Holy Spirit. 1 Corinthians 14:5 - Now I wish that you all spoke in tongues, but even more that you would prophesy; and greater is one who prophesies than one who speaks in tongues, unless he interprets, so that the church may receive edifying. Pursue love, yet desire earnestly spiritual gifts, but especially that you may prophesy. 2 For one who speaks in a tongue does not speak to men but to God; for no one understands, but in his spirit he speaks mysteries. |

5 | Jesus' name baptism? | Acts 2:38 | Nehemiah | 4603
Jesus said, I come to you in my father's name. If his name was Jesus then what was his father's name if he comes in his father's name. He also said that He was the word manifest, he was the right hand of the father, etc. Get the correlation. Jesus came in his fathers name. So what other name could we be baptized in besides the name of Jesus.
6 | Can a woman speak in church? | 1 Tim 2:15 | Nehemiah | 4599
I know that the Bible says, he grants some to be pastors, some prophets, etc. So why wouldn't he. People tend to point out the scripture that gives instructions regarding who can be a deacon, elder, etc. But, my opinion is that it was not intended to outcast women from the pulpit. I beleive that there are many women with an evangelic gift. I do however beleive that a man should be the "head of the church" since he is the head of the household. But I beleive that if the Lord Jesus has granted any of us the gift to evangilise, preach, or teach, or whatever gracious gift, we (woman or man) must utilize it before the church and elders (under thier guidance).
