	hello, thanks for the help in answering my question. I read the book of job, and am having a hard time understanding, if job was blameless, upright, fearing God and turning away from evil, why did god test him so harshly? It sounds like job was a good person, and I don't understand why god would allow all that happened to job. It almost seems like god was cruel by allowing satin to torture job? I know it was probably a test for job, but he really suffered a lot. thank you

	I have accepted Jesus as my savoir, I know that he died for my sins and through him I can receive eternal life. I pray and read EVERY day for over an hour. I have friends who are Christians that I talk too. I try to live a good Christian life. The way God wants. My question is this: I am really getting frustrated, tired, and disappointed. I cant seem to see or feel God in my life. I am really trying to know him. I think that God just doesn't want me. I pray every day for him to open my mind, let me feel his love and know he is in my life. But nothing. I keep reading and praying daily but just don't feel his love or even him being in my life. Sometimes I feel like giving up and believing that God just doesn't want me. Not that I am a bad person, but he has so many to choose from. I cant stop thinking that this is the only reason I have not felt him in my life. I know I am not supposed to go by how I feel, but the bible talks about you being at peace, feeling, knowing god is in your life. Trusting, relying on god. Doesn’t god have some part in revealing himself to me or helping me know him better?

	hello Doc, Thanks for all the help. I am reading John, and I had a question in John, 6:54 I understand He is the bread of life - I understand about the bread, but what does he mean by "drinks my blood" I am missing what his blood stands for _maybe washing away our sins? I think he doesn't really mean drink his blood, but what does the blood stand for? Thanks again for the help!

	Hello Doc and thank you for your answers. I did read Matthew 17:20 , Luke 17:5-10. I think I get it. I am like the slaves. God is the master. I should be serving him and then ask him for help??? I know in Luke he was talking to the disciples when he was talking about having faith like a mustard seed. But I thought if I have a small amount of faith (like a mustard seed) He would answer my prayer. I know I am not a disciple or looking to drive out demons into pigs, but it still sound like if you have faith he will answer your prayer. I will keep reading.!!! Also, I read the Matthew versus, If I am being punished by god that’s probably a good thing because it shows he loves me. Should I start at the beginning of the bible or just keep reading different parts? Thanks again

	hello, and thank you for answering my previous question. if I am asking too many please tell me, but I have been reading the bible and sometimes get confused. when Jesus said if you have "faith like a mustard seed "you could move a mountain, and "ask and you will receive" ask in Jesus name and it shall be done? I have been praying to get better, and have some faith, and have asked god to heal me, but I am getting discouraged even though I read and pray daily. I pray for an hour each day and then read gods word. I am just trying to understand - ask an you shall receive, and if you have faith like a mustard seed, -- I have faith (a little) and ask god for healing, but I'm still sick. I just cant understand if Jesus says those things, why wont he heal me? my faith would really grow a lot. This stuff is confusing! Thanks again for reading my questions and answering

	hello everyone - I am new to this site. thanks in advance for your help. 1. I have 2 questions: does got punish us for our sins on earth by making us sick? I been sick for about 7 months and I think god is punishing me but iam am confused about it. I recently accepted Jesus as my savior and asked him to come into my life. I told him I believe he died for my sins and through him I can have eternal life. But I don't really feel any different? I don't know if he is really in my life. I have been reading the bible and his promises to us but I just don't feel he is listening / answering my prayers . I pray every day, read, and am trying to have a relationship with him. I am trying to follow the ten commandments, and being a good Christian, but just cant see / feel god in my life Does he not want me? I am really trying to have a relationship with Jesus but I just don't feel it. thanks to all

	thank you doc for responding to me. I will start to read Hebrews 12: 1-13. thank you for praying for me. do you know if god punishes people for sinning? I have been sick for a while and think god might be punishing me by letting me be sick for sinning. from what I can understand, god payed the price ank youfor my sins already by dying on the cross. but I am not sure if we still get punished by god here on earth for sinning? th
