Thank you so much, making me understand
John21:1-14 and Luke 5:1-11.
I see now. Yes they are a echo of each other. I see now that the disciples are UNSURE of how to proceed...just like me.
No direction. The miracles that he did in his ministry. I agree when I read the gospel the miracles function at a
symbolic level. God intents us to see them as a meaning of his miracles. Our spirtual blindness is there, when we see the true meaning of all his miracles,
our hearts and minds only want to live
our lifes and to help others to become
BELIEVERS,what a wonderful life that is.

Again thank you, I see the light,I am not
in spirtual blindness.
The true meaning of God's character

Having a very hard time understanding the curtain of the tabernacle, what was it used for,the tearing of the curtain.

This is what I think:
Veil of the temple was torn into two
tearing of the temple veil signfieds two thing, now men has free access to the throne of GRACE by the cross, we should not think again that God dwells in the temple made with hands.

It's so hard to understand,I keep reading, still don't understand completly.

  John 16:14-16

Which verses show how Peter recognized Jesus Christ position of authority after His ascension?

Why is Peter able to preach such a powerful sermon? I beleive that he starts his sermom with "Hear" these words he wanted people to pay attention(something many teachers fail to do)
And he tells them they "know,"Peter refers to what these people already knew about Jesus.Peter was there to tell the truth. Just think a few months before Peter didn't realy know Jesus.

Reading Chapter 16

There were promises given in John 16,
that were fulfilled in the disciples experiences, were recorded in Acts 2-4

I see that their faith would be shaken,
before it finally would be cemented.
They had great courage. Jesus loved them for all there short comings.

  John 15:18-25

First Hello,

I have a question Should Christians try to win others to Christ,if we conform to the world, in our speech habits, ways of spending their time. I say no. I'm winning them over in their world.I belong to God's world.Filling my spirit

with cares about worldy things,business,
lust, sins.Or should we try to bring in all the sheep in.Bring then in with God words and Love.

16 John15:1-15 Christ love to a person Matt 6:24 sweet 76267
  John15:7-16

Today visting friends and talking about reading John15:

A question came up,sad to say I didn't know the answer,or maybe I just didn't understand. Hope you can help me.
How can you love a person and show Christ's love to that friend,if you have no love and cannot work it up?
Right now I see it as: Not really being
a branch of God's vine. You are not abiding in His words or His love.
Verse6 If anyone does not abide in Me,he
is thrown away as a branch and
dried up and they gather them and cast them into the fire and the are burned.

Thank you so much

19 John1-21Love of our God John 14:21 sweet 75221
Reading the passages from John the relationship between loving the Lord Jesus
and studying the Bible. How does one explain this.

I see it as being able to have a relationship with God,for the Bible
lets us understand what God has done for us. Understanding His words and the work He has done for us.To be a believe and follow His commands. To have the Holy Spirit in you.How wonderful that is. Our world today the people of today
don't take the time to read the Bible,
the greatest book. For the love our God
has for all of us,is there to read and to have His Love in us. Even sometimes
when I don't understand a passage,God may do something for me to see the light.
To have His love in us and to have the Bible,to read His words and to know that our Hearts belong to are God.
20 John14:16-18 John 14:17 sweet 75033
  John14:16

The Holy Spirit is a separate person from Jesus:
And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Advocate, and to be with you forever.
This will be after the ressuration, then at that time he will be the Holy Spirit
to then

In Verse John:18

I will not leave you orphaned:I am
coming to you
They will not have Jesus as a human
but The Holy Spirit will be there. The union that comes from the union of the Father, and the Son and now the Holt Spirit,
Do I get this passage right?
