1 cleansing of the sanctuary? Matt 24:29 inheavenseyes 60939
  Greetings Searcher!
Thank you for u'r answer though we're going far from the tribulation and here you started about the Cleansing of the Sanctuary. Let me ask if the Lord needed to give up all the power of Heaven for man to be restored then is it impossible then that there's cleansing need in Heaven? the cleansing is not for Heaven but for our restoration.
Let me share you this:
¡°Cleansing of the Sanctuary¡±

After His ascension, our Saviour began His work as our high priest. Says Paul, "Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us." Hebrews 9: 24. . . .

For eighteen centuries this work of ministration continued in the first apartment of the sanctuary. The blood of Christ, pleaded in behalf of penitent be- lievers, secured their pardon and acceptance with the Father, yet their sins still remained upon the books of record. As in the typical service there was a work of atonement at the close of the year, so before Christ's work for the redemption of men is completed, there is a work of atonement for the removal of sin from the sanctuary. This is the service which began when the 2300 days ended. At that time . . . our High Priest entered the most holy, to perform the last division of His solemn work--to cleanse the sanctuary. .

The coming of Christ as our high priest to the most holy place, for the cleansing of the sanctuary, brought to view in Daniel 8:14; the coming of the Son of man to the Ancient of days, as presented in Daniel 7: 13; and the coming of the Lord to His temple, foretold by Malachi, are descriptions of the same event; and this is also represented by the coming of the bridegroom to the marriage, described by Christ in the parable of the ten virgins, of Matthew 25.

The cleansing of the sanctuary . . . involves a work of investigation -- a work of judgment. This work must be performed prior to the coming of Christ to redeem His people; for when He comes, His reward is with Him to give to every man according to his works.

In the day of final reckoning, position, rank, or wealth will not alter by a hair's breadth the case of any one. By the all-seeing God, men will be judged by what they are in purity, in nobility, in love for Christ.

2 7 years of tribulation? Matt 24:29 inheavenseyes 60851
  Greetings CDJB,
Thanks for the answer though i supposed i'm confuse with which is which, there's a 7 years of tribulation that is yet to come or less than 3 years? Kalos and you both mentioned the book of Daniel which contains the prophecy on 2300 years that has taken place already during the coming of the Messiah. Where did you get this less than 3 years? Is their really text that talks about the exact years of tribulation before Christ Second Coming?
3 7 years of tribulation Matt 24:29 inheavenseyes 60846
  Greetings kalos,
So you mean the 7 years tribulation stated in Daniel 9 has yet to come? Isn't this part of the 2300 years prophecy that was fulfilled for when the Messiah came and the cleansing of the Sanctuary?

5 follow-up on the signs Matt 24:29 inheavenseyes 60752
  Pastor Glenn,
Thanks for your answer however, can you explain what you mean by not asking if it has happened yet. Are we not to consider the famines, earthquakes and wars that has taken place and is taking place to be the fulfilled and and fulfilling signs of His Second Coming? You said the tribulation is just in a few years, when will these few years be?
Thank you and I pray to hear from you again!

7 what is following His Footsteps to you? 1 Pet 2:21 inheavenseyes 60630
What does following His footsteps really mean especially for us Christians? I just wonder if all of us who claimed to be Jesus follower, why are there so many others who are still suffering from the burden of sin. Could it be that so many of us also can't give a full meaning of following His Steps. We can't speak for others so let me know your idea personally.
Thanks and God Bless!

10 follow-up 1 John 3:4 inheavenseyes 60350
  greetings Tim,
Thanks for the answer but you seem to agree the same that sin is still base on behavior, neglecting to do what is right ( comission and omission) even when you said we just have to trust Christ who forgives, you're no stil go back to behavior, isn't it. it's not making the question complicated but i want an answer to whether sin is just base on behavior?
Thanks and hope to hear from you again!

Peace to you as well!

11 follow-up 1 John 3:4 inheavenseyes 60349
  Greetings Makarios,
Basing from your answer so you agree that sin is just the absence of right behavior or the other way to say it to have no sin is to do what is right? Is sin just to be base on behavior?

12 sin is the absence of right behavior? 1 John 3:4 inheavenseyes 60190
Lawlessness is sin, that's true but
are we to base sin just on the absence of right behavior or not abiding the law? Do we think if we can come up with a comprehensive enough sin list, and avoid all the items on the list, that the effort will make us sinless?

14 Love a consuming fire? Heb 12:29 inheavenseyes 60048
God is Love (John 4:8) I believe that with all my heart. I know that even if I/we quit loving Him He won't quit loving me/us. However, referring to the text above, how can we justify this text to one who He is A God of Love? How can one love a consuming fire? Are we to take the word "consuming Fire" in its literal meaning or there is something deep to mean it?
15 on swearing Matt 5:34 inheavenseyes 60029
This is on Matthew 5:33-37.Is swearing a sin? Often times people would say the expression "I swear" in defending themselves. Does this have to do with the text above?
Thanks for anone who answers!

16 Why did god disallow the man to take... Gen 3:22 inheavenseyes 59914
In the NIV it says this way:
"And the Lord God said, the man has now become like one of us, knowing good and evil. He must not be allowed to reach out his hand and take also from the tree of life and eat, and live forever." My question is why did God disallow the man to take part on the tree of life and had live forever? I just wonder if God did allow it then man should have been restored. I appreciate anyone who'll kind enough to share his thought on this matter.
God Bless!

17 Where is the Loving God???? Gen 1:26 inheavenseyes 59498
  friends,
In the Bible there are a lot Of God's promises in every aspect and areas of life. However in so many times people just seem to make their way outs and make justification of themselves by counteracting through the Bible as well. In so many time I've heard of people especially the victims of brokenness, tragedies , problems, and sufferings, they would say if God is really a God of Love why doesn't He stop the sufferings of this world, why does He allow things to happen even to godly people? They would qoute Psalms 121 the shining Hero that neither slumbers and who will not allow any harm to His people? where is the truth in this text when life's crushing difficulties comes? there are still many passages that tells How Loving our God is. My question is How can we justify The God of Love in this world full of evil? How can we defend Him that amidst the sufferrings in Life He will remain to be our Loving God?
I would appreciate very much if you can help me with this query. I often meet people who would strike me to such question and I feel lack of answers at times.
Thank you and God Bless!
