1 "foxes have dens and birds have nests bu Matt 8:22 Gladdish 240231
i came across some things that i didnt quite get the meaning of whilst reading through a passage in the bible and was hoping if someone can clear it up for me.
It's from Matthew 8:20-22 talking about the cost of following Jesus and the sentences i didnt get were "foxes have dens and birds have nests but the son of man has nowhere to lay his head" and "Follow me and let the dead bury their own dead". much appreciated

4 Gen 6:4 The Nephilim Gen 6:4 Gladdish 237496
Hi Doc, love you answer. I also had a question regarding the Nephilim and could not believe that the Nephilim were the offspring of angels and human females. I can not see that God gave any angels the ability to procreate. I'm getting an undestanding from your answer that the sons of Seth where the line of Jesus would come from and the daughters of Cain were not of the line of Jesus and therefore it appears to me that it was a way to corrupt the line of Jesus. How they came to be gaints, maybe no-one can really answer.
5 Full armor of God Bible general Archive 4 Gladdish 237403
Ephesians 6:10-18 NASB Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might. Put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. ...
Question: I'm in 100 percent agreement in putting on the full armor of God, however, I would like to know if I am correct in thinking the armour, once put on should never been taken off. Ie, when going to bed at night we do not take the armour off then put it on again in the morning. The forces of wickedness can also operate while one is sleeping.
6 shall not perish, but have eternal life John 3:16 Gladdish 237331
Please can anyone explain what is meant when John 3:16 says 'shall not perish'. I always believed that after death we have eternal life either with God in Heaven or without God in Hades. I'm not sure what is meant by the word perish.
