1 | Christ and doctrines revealed to us? | John 15:16 | Arnie | 46166
When Christ is revealed to us, are not the doctrines also revealed to us from Christ. I know men make doctrines and I think that could be a big part of the problem, where do the doctrines come from? Christ said in John 7:16 that the doctrines he taught were not His own but were DELIVERED to Him by the Father. So also Christ DELIVERED the same doctrines to us, they more then likely came through a human instrument, but they are not the human instruments doctrines, they were given to him by Christ who received them from the Father. John 7:16-17 16 Jesus answered them, and said, My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me. 17 If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself. KJV Rom 6:17 But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you. KJV Which goes back to the question does God give different doctrines to different groups? I am questioning how can there be so many different doctrines and still all be from the mind of one God. Eph 4:3-6 3 Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; 5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism, 6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. 2 | Recognize Christ? | John 15:16 | Arnie | 46123
Just one last point, If we all believe it is Christ who revealed His doctrines to us, why so many different ideas and views of the same subject. Does He reveal one thing to one group, then reveal the opposite to another group? or is there another answer? Matt 24:4-5 4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. 5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. KJV Many will come teaching in the name of Christ, teaching that Jesus is the Christ AND WILL DECEIVE MANY. Rev 6:2 And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer. KJV Was it Christ on this horse or a counterfeit? |

3 | recognize Christ? | John 15:16 | Arnie | 46053
Dear Parable, The follow-up question would be; if Christ chose us, would He not be responsible for giving us the truth? (knowledge of Him, doctrines, His plan of salvation for mankind) Isn't that how we would come to know Him, recognize Him from the counterfeit Christ'S?
4 | Would you have recognized Christ? | John 15:16 | Arnie | 46001
Do think you would have recognized Jesus as the Christ if you lived in Palestine when Christ was there approximately 2000 Yrs ago? If yes, how would you have recognized Him? Arnie |

5 | physical resurrection | Ezek 37:1 | Arnie | 44901
Greetings Makarios, I would agree it was a vision, and a vision of the future as it certainly hasn't occurred yet. Why would this not be a vision of a literal physical resurrection?? Just as it reads. Arnie Arnie |

6 | Ezekiel 37 - The Valley of The Bones? | Ezek 37:1 | Arnie | 44592
In Ezekiel 37 God is resurrecting "the whole of Israel" to a physical resurrection, where do these people fit in God's plan? It sounds like they are going to have God's Spirit in them and they are going to live on the earth. Ezek 37:14 And shall put my spirit in you, and ye shall live, and I shall place you in your own land: then shall ye know that I the LORD have spoken it, and performed it, saith the LORD. KJV Arnie |

Can we figure out God's Truth by our selves?
8 | 1 Cor 10:11 | Ex 20:2 | Arnie | 43170
Meusing, I agree they were chosen to show the gentiles Gods way of life, but history is a witness against Israel that they did not show the world Gods way of life. IF they followed that which they were given (the law) then they could have been that shining light for all the world see. Israel became an example for just the opposite, they wrote lesson for us today. 1 Cor 10:11 Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come. KJV Romans 2 tells us all men (Jews-Spiritual Jews-Gentiles)vare going to be judged according to THEIR WORKS. We are not SAVED by our works so what judgement is this talking about? |

10 | The Ten Commmandments and Gentiles | Ex 20:2 | Arnie | 42923
When God gave Israel the Ten Commandements at Mount Sinai, did He hold any other nation or country accountable to that which he gave Israel? Especially their relationship to God. (no other gods, no images, taking His name in vain, the Sabbath day?) Arnie
11 | God IS love, what IS love? | 2 Pet 3:1 | Arnie | 42218
Dear Meusing, I probably worded the the question wrong, I should have added 1 John 4 with 1 Cor 13, truely both chapters give great detail in Gods love. God IS love. What IS love?
12 | 1 Cor 13, the love of God. | 2 Pet 3:1 | Arnie | 42213
Dear Love Fountain, Forgive me for changing the topic a bit, I guess this question is somewhat related, I'm familiar with 1 Cor 13, where Paul very eloquently tells what we do if we have the love of God in us, but exactly what does the bible say love IS? I'm not trying to split hairs here, just want to get yours and others biblical perspective of love. Arnie |

13 | Crucified with Christ | Luke 24:45 | Arnie | 41984

14 | When do we understand the scriptures? | Luke 24:45 | Arnie | 41835
Christ was with His disciples three and a half years teaching the good news of the gospel. Although they knew He was the Christ, (Luke 9:20 He said unto them, But whom say ye that I am? Peter answering said, The Christ of God. KJV) It appears they did not understand the gospel until the end of the three and a half years. Luke 24:44-45 44 And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me. 45 Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures, KJV At what point does Christ give us understanding of the scriptures? 16 | Never had a chance to reject Christ | 2 Pet 3:1 | Arnie | 41026
Thank God for His (2 Peter 3:9) "long suffering" toward us. Surly it is by His grace we have hope. The question was about those who have never had a chance to reject His salvation, they have never come to "know" Him. I know we must be called first, we then come to "know" Christ and "the way" to salvation. I bring this up because of whats happening in the middle east. These suicide bombers have been taught from the time they have been little children to hate Israel and the western way, they have been taught a very radical veiw of Islam. They have never had a chance to come to know Christ as you or I have. Do you think you or I, brought up in those same circumstances, would choose Christ? I don't think so.
