Hank :-) Know I know two Hanks that are wise and knowledgable about WOF Theology. Perhaps you might consider becoming Bible Answer number Two. I am more convienced than ever before this is the most distructive, devicive Theology the Church faces today. Im my bold opinion this is a cult that has many sincere believers traped in a choke hold. WOF is a lion in sheeps skin! Just to add to your collection of "Kenny's" heretical garbage, Kenny said with out our consent God can do nothing! Where is the barf bag? Blessings to you Hank! Thanks for taking the responsibility you have in the forum. justme |

Radioman2:I continuly pray for my life to be in God's direct will. With that prayer, I can say with confidence nothing happens that is not known by the Lord before it happens, and I will not be given more than I can endure. I can testify that I have learned by faith in Christ, that I am loved and no matter what happens nothing can take me from the Love and security of my position in Jesus Christ. I am more than content with that alone. I feel stronger than ever in my spiritual strength. I found a real blessing to read each day last week day by day what happened durring Christ's last week. Ressurection Sunday is the most Holy day of the year for me. I HATE THE WORD easter! That word (easter) has nothing to do with Christianity. I just gave you my pet pieve. Sorry I was on a tangent. Blessings to you Radioman2! justem |

Hank: Recently, I heard Hank (The Bible Answer Man) say to remember there are believers who have been duped into this quagmire tarpit of unscriptual theology. (This is not a quote), but my words of understanding the crust of his meaning. I have begun to deal with more pitty, than before. I don't feel any less adomint that this WOF theology is a pile of dung, spiritualy speaking. I wonder if seminaries are preparing new ministry people for this WOF false doctrine. If not they are headed for a block wall. I am convienced only by prayer and the conviction of the Holy Spirit and the exposure to the Word of God can these trapped souls be broken fron the bondage that holds them. Blessings to you Hank! justme |

Imf: Welcome to theForum! I mean that from with sincerity. I totally that the Christian life is a walk of faith and the verses you have mentioned back that up. I do not have a single thing against preaching the Word in or of genuine Faith. What I stand firnly against is false, devicive, money hungry, low life, phoney self proclaimed preachers, like Benny Hinn, Kenneth Copeland, Morris Cerullo, Fredrick Price, Kenneth Hagin, Essek Kenyon, John Avanzini, Robert Tilton, Marilyn Hicky, Paul and Jan Crouch, Charles Capps, Jerry Savelle and the list could fill this space. WOF as a movement is as dark to the core as hell it's self, and the WOF is one of satans best way to begile gullable weak people. We do not have faith in faith, which wof teacxhes! We have Faith in the LORD JESUS. In deed Jesus gives us the faith to believe. This debate on wof is brought up quite often. I have yet to have one wof person give me one example of an Apostle alive today. I have yet to have one single person prove someone being raised from the dead as is clamed. Wof is based on on Theological thin ice! I would incourage you to get CHRISTIANITY IN CRISIS by Hank Henegraaff. If his statements were not true and provable beyond a doubt, then would not these teachers(I use the term but should say false teachers) sue foe damaging these men's ministry? None have even tried! Why? I would not be against any preachers who "teach scripture based on faith." But the deranged people I have listed are of satan, most certainly are wolves in sheeps skins. I hope I have cleared up any confussion you may have had about my faith, and in whom I have faith in. If you are a defender of these false teachers, atleast you have been warned aboout them. I DO NOT want to dialogue about this culy wof,but will dialogue about some more productive area of Christianity. Peace. justme |

Imf: I think you mean Philippians 4:19. I on several notes have messed up on giving the right verse too, so don't let it bother you. My need that I pray for is to be in the direct will of God. What else would or could anyone need or want? I see a big difference between wants and needs. I look at Philippians 4:11,12,13. Those verses put verse 19 in context. What do you think? justme |

Imf: You have a vaild point. In that order of thought, what do we say to Christians who are starving in Africa or South America? I live a comfortable life by most of the worlds standards, in compairson to third world countries. By rich fokes standards I would likely be considered poor. What standard should we use in determining gunine needs from wants? One year ago We went down to one automobile (a truck) because we felt is was not right for us. How do I understand why it is some people are blessed with health, yet others take health as a daily walk of faith? Are Christians to suffer? Thoughts? justme |

Imf: "The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly." John 10:10 NASB Updated. I don't see anything about "I came that they may have and enjoy life and have it in abundance to the full till it overlows." I think you have added to the text, and changed it into something Jesus did not say. What translation are you using? Following your train of thought, why did not one single Apostle die a rich man and have plenty. All suffered from want, physical pain, and tortured beyond belief. Where was this abundant life? I conclude that abundant life is not mearly physical or material. Paul said he had learned contentment in what ever state he was in. Is not godly contentment something the Christians of today experience so very little of? If we are looking for material prosperity as proof of Gods blessings then we are also saying without materialistic prosperity a person is not living the abundant life. I also find that Paul says that many have fallen into carnalality seeeking wealth. That's my version. When the Bible refers to streets being paved with gold, may I suggest something. What is the most precious element mankind has ever known? I say this with the higest respect, but is not Christ blood more valuable than gold? Some might well understand that passage to mean the streets of heaven are paved with the Blood of the Lamb more precious than gold. I believe God wants me to be a wise steward, and live simply. We strive to be simple and with that there is a joy and an abundance of all we need. I keep saying this but it bares repeating, there is a big difference in needs and wants. I might want prime rib and icecream all the time. However I would soon get sick and tired of it. Not only that it would be unhealthy. Do you follow my thoughts? justme |

392 | What about so-called revelation knowledg | Bible general Archive 1 | justme | 82405 | ||
Ifm: I believe you are wealthy now! In James 2:5, "Listen, my beloved brethern: did not God choose the poor of this world to be rich in faith and heirs of the kingdom which He promised to those who love Him?" If it is, according to the Bible, that life is but a vapor in time, why is important to be prosperious materialisticly or in material wealth? Jesus said His Kingdom was not of this world. Have you ever been to a third world country? I tell you they do infact tell others about the saving Mercy and saving Grace of the Lord Jesus. More times then not the people are dirt poor! But, they are obediant and TRUST in FAITh the Lords promise to supply their NEEDs. The Lord does do just as He said He would! The Lords example prayer says "Give us our DAILY bread" the example of Gods chosen people being supplied daily with mana is clear the Lord wants us to trust and rely on His ability to supply our needs. Often it is a walk of faith one day or even a meal at a time. I can say I know this by personal testimony. The Amplified Bible is just what it says, Amplified. This is not a word for word translation. So as you read it take into context what the meaning is. Taking it directly from the Greek John 10:10 says quote "The thief not comes except that he may steal and slay and destroy; I came that life they may have, and abundantly may have." Jesus Christ came to seek and save that which was lost. The abundant life is spiritual. In that, abundant life is transmitted into contentment, and peace with God in this physical world. If you took your theology of material abundance to Etheopia, Nigera or any where in Africa, no one would believe you, because Christians are suffering all over the world! Suffering for lack of clean water, food, shelter, clothes and much more. James 2:15-17 is clear as to what better off Christians are to do. This is the very central key to Christianity. How can you believe that the poor can't share the gospel effectively? They do every day, day after day. I stated that I would not debate WOF with you. I have been kind, respectful, and attempted dialogue with you. You have been respectful, but the dilogue is under gurded by the Health and Wealth message of WOF. I believe with what I've said and your responses, that there such a wide gap in what we understand about abundant life, we have a stalemate. I respectfully bow out, of continuing this debate. I agree to disagree. What I see is not being able to produce any change in thinking. I would challenge you to look very closely as to whom the wealthy are in WOF. Rarely is it the avrage attender. Always you will find the teachers and preachers living far above those they teach. Look at Jesus, He served those around Him. Jesus washed others feet, Jesus was the servant Christ, and we are to follow His example. Jesus was poor in worldy goods and lived quite a simple life style. With kindness and Christian concern, is it possible you have misunderstood the meaning of an abundant life in Christ Jesus? I do know we see the gospel from totally different perspectives. Think about what I've said and pray to have the real truth revealed to you. Peace. justme |

I do expect at least a prayer cloth or a Jesus night light, is that to much to expect? I never give with out being assured that my seed faith money will give an abundant return! After I said it, I claimed it, I have faith in my fauth to demand faith to do it. That sounds like Benny and Kenny, if it works for, why not me? The check is in the mail! (soon) justme |

fran1947: It's never too late to Welcome you to the Forum! Your note shows some real insight, and evangelism. May I kindly suggest that along with what you said refer such a problem to a professional Christian Counslor. This problem is quite serious, and took sometime to get to this point. I can assure you that the two of them need to work to resolve this hardness of heart out. Far to often to male has waited too long for a marriage to be healed. Most likely the wife had been dropping huge bombs of hints, that she was about fed up, for a long time. Most men take it seriously after it's too late. However if there is a chance of healing, it might be better handled in the hands of a Trained Christian Marriage Counselor. Blessings to you. justme |
