Azure, You have a God given talent for bringing people to the standard of Gods Word and you do it with much grace and compassion. You are one of a kind my dearest sister. We are all truly blessed of God to have you with us. Ya know what I got my Christmas present early this year and that's your beautiful heart. We all cherish it. Merry Christmas, lionheart |

Dear Lionheart, my brother. I thank you for your kind words and grace that you have been showing to me. But one thing (or maybe something) that you don't know...I was so much convicted last night when I was listening an online sermon where the preacher (Paul Washer) urged the audience when we pray, we should understand it is the time that we seek and dwell in the presence of God like Jesus did when He got away from the crowd to spend the precious moment with God alone in the wilderness (Mark 1:35). Scripture did not provide what did He pray for...therefore, the emphasis was to have communion with God instead of bringing a list of request to Him. That is a healthy prayer life. Why I said it convicting to me? Earlier on in the morning yesterday after my devotional time, I tried to pray for those in need and I asked God to help me pray. However, what I found upsetting me was that my mind was blank and my heart was not zealous despite I plead for the Holy Spirit to move me...yet I lost this spiritual battle. It really troubled me and horrified me. But God disciplined me through the mouth of this godly man. Psalm 13 Shalom Azure |
