| One reason for anointing is after one fasts ... one doesn't always look nice. It is also used in healing (Mar 6:13, Jam 5:14). The anointing doesn't heal, but God heals. We are anointed because we are Christians (2 Cor 1:21), He was anointed (Acts 10:38). Hope this helps S |
