I used the search function and found no posts which gave examples to show that it was common to forecast a daytime or a night time to being involved with an event when no part of the daytime or no part of the night time could occur.

Also, don't know how Matthew 28:1 got into the OP. It's suppose to be Matthew 12:40.

Perhaps I misunderstood I thought you were looking for possible solutions to
3 days and 3 night in the tomb. If you are Matt 13:40 is another scripture to search on in the forum database. Again there are many discussions on the subject in forum archives.
It this isn't what you are after perhaps you need to explain exactly what you are looking for.

Do some research on the what "The Sabbath" or the "The Great Sabbath" refers to in Jewish vennactular as opposed to the more common Sabbath day.

  EdB,
re: "Perhaps I misunderstood I thought you were looking for possible solutions to 3 days and 3 night in the tomb."

I'm not, but don't feel bad. For some reason I get that a lot.

re: "It this isn't what you are after perhaps you need to explain exactly what you are looking for."

I did that in the OP.

  EdB,

I don't see where your links provide examples where a daytime or a night time was forecast to be involved with an event when no part of the daytime or no part of the night time could have taken place.

Is it possible you are looking for something that does not exist? Where did you see the statement? Who made it? Did you ask them to support the hypothesis they presented? Did someone on this forum make it?

Personally I think the concept as you stated it is false and therefore is impossible to defend. I know of no one on this forum that would or could defend within the criteria you stated.

  EdB,
re: "Is it possible you are looking for something that does not exist?"

That certainly seems to be the case.

re: "Where did you see the statement?"

Actually, it's been so long ago that I don't remember.

re: "Who made it?"

Same as above.

re: "Did you ask them to support the hypothesis they presented?"

Same as above.

re: "Did someone on this forum make it?"

I don't think so, at least not originally.
