1 Hell not created for man? Matt 25:41 Searching333 89752
  In Matt 25:41 it sounds like that hell was not created for man originally. Does anyone else agree or disagree?

2 Hell not created for man? Matt 25:41 Schmythe 89778
  I agree, if hell was designed as a place to send the rebelious angels to it must have been created before man, since this took place before we were created.
3 Hell not created for man? Matt 25:41 GeorJoy 89787
  Yea, but (how) have you come to this conclusion?

Can you back it up with scripture?
If not, you may be right, but you could also be wrong.
Are you just throwing the dice, or playing with a full house.
What if there is a Flush out there?

Actually searching333, you have hit the nail on the head. What I am trying to say is; don't trust others to provide (all) your spiritusl nourishment. You could eventually wind up with a bellie ache if you do.

Tilling and planting ones own garden is a very rewarding experience. The harvest is so much more desirable than anything anyone else can provide. the more you do it, the better you become.

In Love in Christ

4 Hell not created for man? Matt 25:41 Schmythe 89790
  Well first unless we are in disagreement about satan also being the serpent in Genesis, then I think that would perhaps be the most obvious scriptural refference. If satan was already at the point of going against God, he must have tried to overthrough God before our creation. Also I would like to say that I agree that someone should not deppend upon others for their spiritual knowledge, but there is nothing wrong with sounding ideas off of others, or asking questions about something we don't understand. The main point is that we realize the only one with all the answers is God. Everyone, you George, myself, and the person asking the questions, can only give their best interpretations. The Lord is the only one who fully knows everything. God bless
5 Hell not created for man? Matt 25:41 GeorJoy 89815
  The Lord (is) the only one who fully knows everything!

Some things He has given us to know. Others He has witheld. Still others, He intends for us to seek out.

I simply contend that the safest place is "The Word."

There is nothing wrong with asking and listening. For;
Rom 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

But remember the times in which you live, for;

Mat 7:15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

God Bless
George
6 Hell not created for man? Matt 25:41 Schmythe 89820
  Once again i am curious are you compareing my to a "false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves."? you seem to not address the main intent of my previous post, which was to discuss, my basis for the idea that hell was created for satan and his lot. Instead you only seem to elude to the fact that you consider me a "false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves."
