1 Should a Christian take a man to court? Prov 25:8 joel k 102957
Is it wrong for a Christian to take someone to court over an on-the-job religious descrimination charge? The man who owns the business is a Christian, but the man who descriminated against me is not.
2 Should a Christian take a man to court? Prov 25:8 EdB 102958

There are four places in the Bible that suggest going to court may not be the best way of settle things, Proverbs 25:8, Matthew 5:25, 40, 1 Corinthians 6:1

Certainly if it is a problem between two Chrsitians they should try to settle it outside of court. If it is between a Chrsitian and non Christian perhaps the only way to get justice is in the court. In your case ask yourself, if you take this person to court who is going to suffer? The man that discriminated against you or the Christian business man that owns the company? What was the discrimination? Did he simply not do right by you because you were a Christian or was it because he took action against you because your a Christian. Or was it something you initiated like always talking about Jesus when asked not to. In taking this person to court and if you won what would change? If you lost how would it effect you? Truthfully answering these questions to yourself may reveal what you need to do.

Before you do anything you need to sit down and talk to the Christian man that owns the business, and you may need to have a pastor as a mediator. If the problems can't be resolve then and you feel God is leading you then perhaps you need to consult an attorney to see what recourse you have.
