1 Genesis 6 the "fallen ones" Gen 6:4 LeeBrooks 27743
I have had someone ask me a question recently. Are there or has there been "souless" beings on the earth. i think she is talking about genesis Chapter 6. but i was under the impression that the "fallen ones" refered to fallen angles. ?
2 Genesis 6 the "fallen ones" Gen 6:4 hotrod_ragtop 27744
Genesis 6:2-6, 2Peter 2:4,5 - angels are sometimes referred to as sons of God in scripture and, yes, 6:2-6 refers to the fallen angels who had children with the human women creating a race of giants. I've heard it suggested that Goliath may have been one of these, remember he was 9' 4" tall - a pretty big guy - and mean (1Samuel 17). As far a souless, I find that scripture says animals have no souls which keeps them from heaven. Since angels are in heaven and hell because they have a choice, just as we do, do they not also have souls? Although, once they make their choice to turn away from God, there is no turning back for them. Jesus died for us, not them (John 3:16). Thus, our redemption comes from Him. They have none. Lucky us. Thank you God.
3 Genesis 6 the "fallen ones" Gen 6:4 Makarios 30458
Nope, Genesis 6:2-6 is not speaking of fallen angels who had children with human women, and such a stance cannot be proven true through the use of Scripture.

Also, angels do not have a "choice" like we do, since they are elect (2 Tim. 5:21) and they find the whole concept of salvation as something that is "curious" (1 Peter 1:12), not as something that they have access to, since 'fallen angels' are forever fixed in their place! (2 Peter 2:4, Jude 6, Matt. 8:29)
