1 Did Adam see his children fall from God? Gen 5:22 bhrnd2 203095
While reading Genesis I noticed several birth ages, and how long the fathers lived with their offspring. If I take the ages of their children's birth and total them it seems that Adam was still alive when Mathuselah was born. This would make it only one generation (into 66 years of Lamechs life) before Noah. Can I take these ages at face value? Or is there something I could be missing about the times from my limited theological educaton?

Thanks

  God's day to you, bhrnd2,

I take them as face value. How they interacted with thier family is not always know.
