1 Prophecy,Double Fullfillment? Ezra 4:1 lionheart 164311
In recent weeks I've heard several remarks and
teaching about double fullfillment of Prophecy.
I've always thought when prophecy is fullfilled
it's fullfilled. It just seems a little strange to me.What do you think brothers and sisters?

In Christ,

2 Prophecy,Double Fullfillment? Ezra 4:1 Elder 164312
Well you have the prophecy in Jeremiah, Isaiah, and other prophets in scripture where the prophecy that was given was for that time and time to come. Such as when Ezekial talked about the city being restored while they were in capitivy. That prophecy was done when Ezra and Nehemiah went back to Jerusalem to restore it. But Ezekial was also talking about the time when Jesus comes with the New Jerusalem.

Read Ezekiel chs, 34, 36-48
