1 Joshua's Geneology 1 Chr 7:20 Crystalight 102201
I have figured out that Joshua is the son of Nun and comes from the tribe of Ephraim, but the details in between are fuzzy. I can't seem to make sense of the geneology from Shuthelah to Rephah. Please help me figure out exactly where Joshua came from! Thanks!
2 Joshua's Geneology 1 Chr 7:20 Makarios 102213
  Greetings Crystalight,

According to 1 Chronicles 7:20-27, there were 9 generations between Ephraim and Joshua. Therefore, the events in verses 21 and 22 most likely occurred before the Exodus.

Numbers 26:35-37 helps a little, and Joshua 16 helps somewhat..

I apologize that I cannot be of more help..

Makarios
