21 | 14 yr old dressing inappropriately-HELP! | Eph 6:1 | speight | 174945
There are alot of women, girls, and ladies who has not read 1Tim2:9-15 the place and dress of women. I came across this scripture shortly after I was saved and it changed my whole out look on how I dress now compared to the way I used to dress and let me tell you, I am so ashamed of the way I use to dress when I was a teenager. Here I am trying to shop for my 5yr. old daughter and everything that I find doesn't cover up anything. It's shameful how these designers try and get the young to look cheap too.

can anyone help me understand once saved always saved. I see some people say they are saved and once their fire for God is burnt out they go doing things that they did before they were saved, even worse. I keep looking at the scriptures of Rev.3:16 and Rev.21:8. I also see that the people that are saved will be judged for their works done on earth. I also read about backslidding in Luke9:62 and 2Peter2:20-21. I was once told that if a person is truely saved then they can't help but live there life for God. Can someone help me understand?

Thank you taking the time with my question. When I try and invite someone to church or somekind of church function the kind of response that I get is "well I'm saved, I don't have to." But in the same sentence tell me that they are going to some kind of party. I suppose only God knows, and there are things that I will never understand as long as I do my part as a christian.
