1 | I want my wife back | Bible general Archive 3 | livingtree | 157238
Mark, in reading your question I sense a struggle to find a way to cause your desired result to happen. Faith cannot be used that way, although many of us have tried to use it that way. Faith is our response to God's provision and to his promises. Faith doesn't move God and force can't move your wife. Therefore, it would be good to do as I Peter 5:6-7 instructs. Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you. He needs to be your focus for now, instead of your wife. Your wife needs to gain back her trust in you. Forgiveness is one thing, trust is another. If she can see your focus on trusting God and being completed submitted to His provision, it will be easier for her. God be with your spirit. |

2 | Whats the major reson for sunday worship | Bible general Archive 3 | livingtree | 157239
Dear friend, its not that the Sabbath is not important, but rather that Jesus has become our Sabbath rest. The Sabbath was a day of rest, and it was fullfilled in Him. According to Hebrews, we now work to enter into His rest and cease from our own works (like earning righteousness), just as God ceased from His works on the 7th day. We worship on Sunday because that is the day that Jesus was raised from the dead. Hallelujah! He is alive, and no more are we under the bondage of our works to please God. We are not only forgiven, but made righteous in Him. We still practise the Sabbath, but we do so by BELIEVING in Jesus and living in Him instead of by a day. Make sure your trust is in His righteousness today! THIS is the day that the Lord has made. Be blessed in it! CBS |

3 | Why did God block access to the tree of | Gen 3:24 | livingtree | 157235
Perhaps someone has already answered this, but access to the tree of life was done in mercy, so that man would not live forever in a body racked by sin, sickness, and torment. In Revelations men wish to die and are not able. What an awful place to be. God did not leave man. He spoke to them after the Garden. But, he didn't want them to eat and (according to Gen. 3:22) live forever in that state. Redemption gave us a new spirit, and later will give us a new body too. Be blessed.
4 | Faith not strong enough ? | Num 15:15 | livingtree | 157237
Hello. According to your question, there has been an experience with the person and presence of God, but you do not mention what this person's experience in the word of God has been. We are really quite unable to live out the life that God intends us to live without planting His word deeply in our hearts and living from it. The word itself will make the change in us, as the mind of our heart is changed by it. A very good reference for this can be found at http://www.awmi.net/extra/article/effortless_change Be blessed. you are a blessing. CBS |

5 | John 8:24- What does this mean to you? | 1 John 4:2 | livingtree | 157240
Deep Input, God had a relationship with Adam, but then Adam sinned and became afraid of God, didn't he? When one can see that someone is so much better than they are, its hard to have a close, intimate relationship. So God sent Jesus to bring us His righteousness. Then, Jesus died the most awful death. How could we now not believe that He loved us? He gave us so much. And He was raised from the dead to life again, and so are we if we believe and accept Him as Lord. It makes us able to relate to Holy God knowing and receiving the new spirit He has sent. Now this is personal, as all relationships are. ITs not one group or another, and you will stand or fall on your own faith in Him. Gal 2:16 says we are justified by the faith OF Christ, and not by the works of the law. So I wouldn't worry too much about who is doing wrong out there, but I would seek Him with my whole heart, so that you might find yourself in Him. Be blessed! CBS |
