522 | when we die where do we go | Eccl 12:7 | jlpangilinan | 24771
Nolan, Are those spirit exists, meaning are they know where they are? I would like you to explain the parable of Jesus Christ: Lu 16:27 Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father's house: Lu 16:28 For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment. Lu 16:29 Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them. 29. The rich man, talking about his brethen that left in the world. it is the same with the answer that they have prohets, moses let hear them. It is not yet the final judgement, the richman existed in hell while his brethen, existed in earth. Hope you could explain it to me. Lu 16:30 And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent. Lu 16:31 And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead. God bless, Johnny |

523 | when we die where do we go | Eccl 12:7 | jlpangilinan | 25018
Nolan, Thanks for the answer. Your statement:"In 1 Thessalonians 4:13-17, Paul deals with the "dead in Christ" and assures the Thessalonian Christians that there will be a reunion of loved ones and that they will recognize their loved ones in the eternal state." I would like to put some passages here that somehow I feel will contradict some of your satement: Mt 22:28 Therefore in the resurrection whose wife shall she be of the seven? for they all had her. Mt 22:29 Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God. Mt 22:30 For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven. This is not a debate, I would like you to explain such things like this, sometimes it bothers me. I cited in Luke 16:19-31, the rich man, Lazarus. Here if we noticed they recognize there brethen in earth, but we look at some scriptures it will somehow having some problems: Ec 9:5 For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten. Ec 9:6 Also their love, and their hatred, and their envy, is now perished; neither have they any more a portion for ever in any thing that is done under the sun. In that passages I think has different meaning from a parable that I quoted. Hope you can explain those. God bless, Johnny |

524 | Horus and Mother Isis | Song of Solomon | jlpangilinan | 193864
We are not saying that Jesus Christ was born December 25. History tells us that during the birth of Jesus there are country shepherds abiding in the field and keep watch over thier flocks by night. Lu 2:8 ¶ And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. Lu 2:9 And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid. all we all knew that december 25 in bethlehem is very cold, icy or snowy. So if you are the sheppered of those flocks you will not going out with you flocks with that kind of wheather, aside from that sheep are not ice eater (joke) In catholic encyclopedia volume 2 it was recoreded that in the first 330 years of christianism birth of Chirst was celebration was on january 6 (three kings as of today) December 25 indeed was the same date of the fest pagan God of Rome "Satur" or saturnilla "god of sun" there are denomination celebrates Christmas on December 25, there are also that do not. although we can celebrate the Christmas everyday in our hearts, by serving God, nieghboors, and human beings. I hope it would helps. God bless, |

525 | Does God uses people to phophecy | Isaiah | jlpangilinan | 20276
Isaiah is one of the prophet of God one of his propecy is the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ: Isa 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. In this particular verse, it is gave us assurance that God uses people to prophecy, and we can justify that Isaiah is true prophet of God because all of his propecy happened. Tahnks Johnny |

527 | Who was on the earth first Adam or satan | Is 14:12 | jlpangilinan | 114653
We knew that God created the angels ahead from human the proof of that is satan tempted adam and eve. But when satan was there in eden tempting eve, that is not the time that satan and 1/3 of angels has been cast out. Re 12:7 And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, Re 12:8 And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. Re 12:9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. In Revelation, it was written that satan "which decieveth the whole world has been cast out:" if we believed that during the time of eve, satan was already cast out it is only 2 person he decieved at the time, not the whole world. In Re 12:8 it was written "And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven." Satan and his angel has found no place in heaven. Take a look at this verse from job. Job 1:6 ¶ Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them. Job 1:7 And the LORD said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it. In that passages, satan was allowed to present himself before the Lord. If the time of eve, satan was already cast out it is no way that in the time of Job he can still be allowed to present himself before the Lord because in Revelation it stated the his (satan)place no more found in heaven. I hope it would helps. God bless, |

528 | Angels have free will? | Is 14:13 | jlpangilinan | 80212
The angels has free will, that is why satan do what he thinks right for him. The human as we know has free will, but after the judgement we are not capable of sinning anymore, therefore there is no chance of rebel against God if we are in His kingdom already. After the war in heaven dragon and his angel cast out, the angles that followed satan are numbered third part of angels. After that I am sure there are no more angels will leave God otherwise the third part will change it could be one half or more. God bless, |

529 | Angels have free will? | Is 14:13 | jlpangilinan | 80283
I said after the wars in heaven, it was written in Rev. that the dragon and his angels will be cast out, after that the angels that remain in the side of the Lord will remain. The third part will be in satan side. God bless, |

530 | Question about Tyre | Is 23:1 | jlpangilinan | 63328
God directed the prophets to predict the distruction of Tyre so it will be known by man. Who give the prediction to the prophets anyway? who give them powers to predict the things that will happen in the future? it is God, if God dont know that Tyre will destroy in the future (times of the prophet) He cannot give the prediction to them that those things will happen. The wickedness and idolatry of this city are frequently denounced by the prophets, and its final destruction predicted (Isa 23:1; Jer 25:22; Eze 26:1-21; 28:1-19; Am 1:9-10; Zec 9:2-4) God bless, Johnny |

531 | Question about Tyre | Is 23:1 | jlpangilinan | 63394
Information on Tyre a rock, now es-Sur; an ancient Phoenician city, about 23 miles, in a direct line, north of Acre, and 20 south of Sidon. Sidon was the oldest Phoenician city, but Tyre had a longer and more illustrious history. The commerce of the whole world was gathered into the warehouses of Tyre. "Tyrian merchants were the first who ventured to navigate the Mediterranean waters; and they founded their colonies on the coasts and neighbouring islands of the AEgean Sea, in Greece, on the northern coast of Africa, at Carthage and other places, in Sicily and Corsica, in Spain at Tartessus, and even beyond the pillars of Hercules at Gadeira (Cadiz)" (Driver's Isaiah). In the time of David a friendly alliance was entered into between the Hebrews and the Tyrians, who were long ruled over by their native kings (2Sa 5:11; 1Ki 5:1; 2Ch 2:3). Tyre consisted of two distinct parts, a rocky fortress on the mainland, called "Old Tyre," and the city, built on a small, rocky island about half-a-mile distant from the shore. It was a place of great strength. It was besieged by Shalmaneser, who was assisted by the Phoenicians of the mainland, for five years, and by Nebuchadnezzar (B.C. 586-573) for thirteen years, apparently without success. It afterwards fell under the power of Alexander the Great, after a siege of seven months, but continued to maintain much of its commercial importance till the Christian era. It is referred to in Mt 11:21; Ac 12:20. In A.D. 1291 it was taken by the Saracens, and has remained a desolate ruin ever since. "The purple dye of Tyre had a worldwide celebrity on account of the durability of its beautiful tints, and its manufacture proved a source of abundant wealth to the inhabitants of that city." Both Tyre and Sidon "were crowded with glass-shops, dyeing and weaving establishments; and among their cunning workmen not the least important class were those who were celebrated for the engraving of precious stones." (2Ch 2:7,14). The wickedness and idolatry of this city are frequently denounced by the prophets, and its final destruction predicted (Isa 23:1; Jer 25:22; Eze 26:1-21; 28:1-19; Am 1:9-10; Zec 9:2-4). Here a church was founded soon after the death of Stephen, and Paul, on his return from his third missionary journey spent a week in intercourse with the disciples there (Ac 21:4). Here the scene at Miletus was repeated on his leaving them. They all, with their wives and children, accompanied him to the sea-shore. The sea-voyage of the apostle terminated at Ptolemais, about 38 miles from Tyre. Thence he proceeded to Caesarea (Ac 21:5-8). "It is noticed on monuments as early as B.C. 1500, and claiming, according to Herodotus, to have been founded about B.C. 2700. It had two ports still existing, and was of commercial importance in all ages, with colonies at Carthage (about B.C. 850) and all over the Mediterranean. It was often attacked by Egypt and Assyria, and taken by Alexander the Great after a terrible siege in B.C. 332. It is now a town of 3,000 inhabitants, with ancient tombs and a ruined cathedral. A short Phoenician text of the fourth century B.C. is the only monument yet recovered." Easton Bible Dictionary God bless, Johnny |

538 | WHAT IS THE CORRECT DIVINE NAME | Is 63:16 | jlpangilinan | 51329
The correct letters that found in the script is YHWH NAME JEHOVAH was knwon only on 14 centruy it is unkmown to jews. in my personal opinion if the word JEHOVAH is born on 14 century God has no name before that time. It is also hard to believed that Jehovah is the name of God because in the hebrew alphabet there is no letter "J" What is written there is YHWH they just put additional letter so we can read it Jehovah or Yaweh. This is the name that written in Isa 63:16 Doubtless thou art our father, though Abraham be ignorant of us, and Israel acknowledge us not: thou, O LORD, art our father, our redeemer; thy name is from everlasting. In the new testament Jesus (in my king james) never mention the name of His father was Jehova He always calle His Father or Our Father. God bless, Johnny |

539 | DIFFERENT NAMES FOR GOD | Is 63:16 | jlpangilinan | 63606
God the Father "Father" God the Son "Jesus Christ" In the hebrews scriptures it "YHWH" was found but there are no one live today how this word pronounced to moses: Jehovas withnesses said that "JEHOVAH is the name of God the father. But they also accepted in thier own books that even the jew never know this name. They also exaplain that they use JEHOVAH because of its popularity. Word Jehovah came out on 14th century it is also impossible that this is the correct name of God the Father because hebrews scriptures has no letter "J" which is the very start of the said name. And I dont believed that God only have His name on 14th century. YAHWEH is an addtional to "YHWH" because they cannot pronounce it correctly they put Y"A"HW"E"H "A" and "E" to read it YAWEH. The name of God the Father: Isa 63:16 Doubtless thou art our father, though Abraham be ignorant of us, and Israel acknowledge us not: thou, O LORD, art our father, our redeemer; thy name is from everlasting. In the new testament Jesus Christ simply called God the Father "our Father" or "My Father" not JehovaH not Yahweh. God bless, Johnny |

It is not recorded if they are married: Now Sarai Abram's wife bare him no children: and she had an handmaid, an Egyptian, whose name was Hagar. Ge 16:2 And Sarai said unto Abram, Behold now, the LORD hath restrained me from bearing: I pray thee, go in unto my maid; it may be that I may obtain children by her. And Abram hearkened to the voice of Sarai. Ge 16:3 And Sarai Abram's wife took Hagar her maid the Egyptian, after Abram had dwelt ten years in the land of Canaan, and gave her to her husband Abram to be his wife. Regarding your other question: Ge 22:14 And Abraham called the name of that place Jehovahjireh: as it is said to this day, In the mount of the LORD it shall be seen. |
