521 | God is everywhere? | Bible general Archive 1 | jlpangilinan | 73710
Inmyheart, Thanks for your time, Again I will quote that verse that you did not explain to me. What did really is to quote other verses but not explaining my question. Ge 18:20 And the LORD said, Because the cry of Sodom and Gomorrah is great, and because their sin is very grievous; Ge 18:21 I will go down now, and see whether they have done altogether according to the cry of it, which is come unto me; and if not, I will know. If God is in everywhere why He had to go down to know the things that happened to sodom? Do you think moses as a man of God mistake when he wrote this? are we going to ignore moses. Quote"Yes, however, Jesus was saying that OUR Father is in Heaven, when Christ died, He bridged that gap, now God can be in the hearts of men, everywhere, who believes God through Jesus." Where is your biblical passages for this, again you said "God can be in the hearts of men, everywhere, who believes God through Jesus." you are right in the hearts of who believe but not in the hearts of thos who donot believed so God is not in everywhere: 1Co 5:13 But them that are without God judgeth. Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person. When Christ said that He will leave the world and come into the Father it is clear that He leave and go to specific places, if God is in everywhere Christ need not to leave in order to be in His Father. Joh 16:28 ¶ I came forth from the Father, and am come into the world: again, I leave the world, and go to the Father. God bless, |

Inmyheart, The verses that you quoted is very inspriring to the sons of God, its promises that God will not leave anywhere you are. But it is really answered my question. Aside from that you did not explain the verses that I quoted. I know God can be everywhere if he want, but for being Holy He stayed in Heaven as Christ always said "our Father which is in heaven" If God really is everywhere why everytime that Christ pray he look up into heaven? Why He dont just look somewhere else, under the table, in your drawer or in the mirror. Why Christ teach us the Lord prayers that God which art in Heaven. If God is in everywhere He would taught us "our Father which is in everyhwere" 14 times mention this word mention "Father which is in Heaven" in the new testament at least in my KJV twice the word "which art in heaven" but nowhere mention the "which is in everwhere". I believed that God can see everything, even in heaven. Other passages that will stated that He is not in everywhere is this: Mt 18:20 For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them. "for where two or three are gathered in my name, ther I am" see if there are two or three gethered He is there how about to thoses gathered not in His name but maybe talking about lust and other evil things do you think God will be there in the midst of them. God bless, |

533 | who was barnabus the encourager | Acts 4:36 | jlpangilinan | 73461
Barnabas son of consolation, the surname of Joses, a Levite (Ac 4:36). His name stands first on the list of prophets and teachers of the church at Antioch (Ac 13:1). Luke speaks of him as a "good man" (Ac 11:24). He was born of Jewish parents of the tribe of Levi. He was a native of Cyprus, where he had a possession of land (Ac 4:36-37), which he sold. His personal appearance is supposed to have been dignified and commanding (Ac 14:11-12). When Paul returned to Jerusalem after his conversion, Barnabas took him and introduced him to the apostles (Ac 9:27). They had probably been companions as students in the school of Gamaliel. The prosperity of the church at Antioch led the apostles and brethren at Jerusalem to send Barnabas thither to superintend the movement. He found the work so extensive and weighty that he went to Tarsus in search of Saul to assist him. Saul returned with him to Antioch and laboured with him for a whole year (Ac 11:25-26). The two were at the end of this period sent up to Jerusalem with the contributions the church at Antioch had made for the poorer brethren there (Ac 11:28-30). Shortly after they returned, bringing John Mark with them, they were appointed as missionaries to the heathen world, and in this capacity visited Cyprus and some of the principal cities of Asia Minor (Ac 13:14). Returning from this first missionary journey to Antioch, they were again sent up to Jerusalem to consult with the church there regarding the relation of Gentiles to the church (Ac 15:1; Ga 2:1). This matter having been settled, they returned again to Antioch, bringing the decree of the council as the rule by which Gentiles were to be admitted into the church. When about to set forth on a second missionary journey, a dispute arose between Saul and Barnabas as to the propriety of taking John Mark with them again. The dispute ended by Saul and Barnabas taking separate routes. Saul took Silas as his companion, and journeyed through Syria and Cilicia; while Barnabas took his nephew John Mark, and visited Cyprus (Ac 15:36-41). Barnabas is not again mentioned by Luke in the Acts. |

Your explaination is not biblical, it maybe your conclusion or you maybe you read it somewhere. Some of your explaination is the same when the catholic explain who is Jesus Christ, they explain that when God the Father think of Himself then it was Jesus was brought fort. Jesus Christ is not just a reflection of the Father He is different Person, God the the Father is the Father and Jesus Christ as the God the Son. God bless, |

536 | John12:1-9 Poor will always be here | John 12:8 | jlpangilinan | 73353
The situation there is it judas pretending that he is caring for the poor Joh 12:3 Then took Mary a pound of ointment of spikenard, very costly, and anointed the feet of Jesus, and wiped his feet with her hair: and the house was filled with the odour of the ointment. Joh 12:5 Why was not this ointment sold for three hundred pence, and given to the poor? When mary use the ointment to clean Christ feet, it is judas try to oppose that they should sell the ointment and gave to the poor but the truth is he want the money. Joh 12:6 This he said, not that he cared for the poor; but because he was a thief, and had the bag, and bare what was put therein. Joh 12:7 Then said Jesus, Let her alone: against the day of my burying hath she kept this. Joh 12:8 For the poor always ye have with you; but me ye have not always. Christ explain that those poor people are always there if we want to help, they were around anytime, even in our time too many poor people needs our help. But christ said they have him always as human person. (because he is going to die in the cross and ressurect and go back to heaven as God the Son. God bless |

540 | Jesus God/God God still unclear | Matt 1:23 | jlpangilinan | 73193
I am a little bit confuse in your statement. Quote"I was not claiming that Jesus was God," "because this was not the voice of Jesus claiming to be God but the voice of God claiming to be God". end of quote. Correct me if I am wrong, are you saying that Christ is not God? Scriptures stated that Christ is God. Christ is God but a separate person from God the Father. Heb 1:8 But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom. God bless, |
