2 | interacial dating | Bible general Archive 1 | fatherchuck | 10662
Hello, Interacial dating presupposes more than one race. We have common parents, Adam and Eve. All their descendants are of the same race, human. Races as they are presented today are a human contrivance to diferentiate between types of people, perhaps to justify mistreating those different from themselves. |

Perhaps God does not clearly state whether His people should or should not marry interracially because it is not an issue with Him. Throughout the Bible His issue with His people has been purity of faith, not blood.
4 | Can a woman with no womb bear a child? | Bible general Archive 1 | fatherchuck | 12091
May I suggest that you encourage her to seek counsel with her pastor. I would doubt the validity of a vision that produced an obsession and torment. Further if the fruit of this obsession is causing distance in her relationship with her husband it would also cause one to suspect it's source. Prov 10:22 " It is the blessing of the Lord that makes rich, He adds NO SORROW to it." If this vision were of God it would seem that it should produce peace within herself and unity with her husband and that doesn't appear to be the situation. |

5 | where is paradise? | Bible general Archive 1 | fatherchuck | 13842
Psalm 16 will tell you where paradise is and why it is paradise. Ver. 11 Thou wilt make known to me the path of life; In Thy Presence is fulness of joy; In Thy right hand are pleasures forever. Paradise is being in the presence of God. An experience He makes possible through the sacrifice of His Son. For when the issue of sin has been dealt with He then makes His home in the heart of the believer. He indwells one who has not yet physically died. In His Presence is fulness of joy! |

God is NOT ALL. He is separate from His creation which in no way lessens Who He is. He is above good and evil, He is Life and in Him is the true life man was meant to experience. If I understand you, are you asking we are to test His strength? I think that the purpose of our creation was to be the objects of His Love. Grace to you. |

You are right in that you say man is not sure what to call the Almighty and that man is not capable of properly labeling Him. That has been man's problem from the beginning. That is why He revealed Himself to man through the prophets of the Old Testament and why He came to us in the Person of His Son. So that He might tell us Himself ,Who He is and what His Name is, and how we can know Him for ourselves. He has a Name, He is not a force. A name He has chosen, not one given to Him by another, and a Name He wants you to know.

9 | Why did God create time? | Bible general Archive 1 | fatherchuck | 35428
Could it be that God created time so that everything wouldn't happen all at once? Time is like a filing system that allows a finite creature with limited capabilities to deal with what happens in an orderly manner. It allows order to be established in the creation. |

10 | Who made Sunday a day of worship | Bible general Archive 1 | fatherchuck | 43552
If you look further back into the history of the church you will find that the earliest christians, the disciples of the apostles, kept saturday AND sunday as sabbath. As time progressed sunday became the sabbath for the christians. Both days were recognized by the church fathers, sunday eventually becoming the christian's sabbath as division between jew and christian widened.

12 | What is a perpetual covenant | Bible general Archive 1 | fatherchuck | 43560
It is a perpetual covenant between THE SON'S OF ISRAEL ( THE JEWS) and God, not the gentiles.
13 | Are we expected to keep the sabath? | Bible general Archive 1 | fatherchuck | 43571
Ezk 20:11-13 ...but the HOUSE OF ISRAEL Ex. 31:12-18 ...speak to the SON'S OF ISRAEL It is a sign between God and the descendants of Israel ( the Jews ). Jesus is descended from Israel and as a son of Israel was obligated to keep that sabbath, as also He was circumcised according to the PERPETUAL, EVERLASTING, covenant God established between Himself and all the descendants of Abraham, Ex: 17-11. As son's of Abraham through faith is circumcision another requirement all males in the church must keep to be in obedience to Him? By your reasoning I would say so. |

14 | Do you disobey this commandment? | Bible general Archive 1 | fatherchuck | 43611
I agree that those who are placing their faith on keeping sabbath, or on any other point of the law, have accepted a wrong emphasis. But are you saying that you don't keep any day as a sabbath? Just curious.

16 | Righteous, Unrighteous and Children? | Gen 18:28 | fatherchuck | 12317
Innocence? In 1 Kings 14: 1-13 the story is told of Abijah the son of Jeroboam becoming sick and dying. The reason given by the Lord was because something GOOD was found in him toward the Lord. It would seem that the Lord took him to spare him the corrupting influences that would surround him as he grew up in Jeroboam's house. Death is not the worst that can happen to one if one dies in innocence and perhaps that is why God may have spared the children of such corrupt societies as the pre-flood earth, Sodom and Gomorrah, Caanan, etc. through death. |

17 | Righteous, Unrighteous and Children? | Gen 18:28 | fatherchuck | 12571
Righteousness and unrighteousness are the products of moral judgement, choices. The ability to know right from wrong and to make choices based on that knowledge. Innocence is the absence of the knowledge of right and wrong. The moral knowledge required for making righteous or unrighteous choices is lacking in the innocent/ children. The children were neither righteous nor unrighteous. they were innocent, morally neutral. And perhaps as in the case of Jeroboam's son they were taken by the Lord to spare them from the inevitable corruption that would be their lot in such societies. |
