441 | Role of women in John 4, 12 and 20? | NT general | azurelaw | 202477
Dear moyekoli, For your information, the forum is not designed for doing homework assignment for users. In concern with your topical study, I would suggest that you compare the relevant scriptures with those in other Gospel Books to see the differences in order that you may grasp the idea and focus of how John convey the message. (It would not be necessarily relevent to your topic of study for the whole bible is talking about Christ not any other human beings.) For example, John 12:1-8 you cited, the same instance was recorded in Luke 7:37, Mat 26:7 and Mark 14:3 but only John mentioned the name of the woman. What does that mean in concern with John's perspective? I leave it to you to find out for yourself. But bear in mind that anything that is not clearly stated in scriptures is only our speculation. Hope the above helpful. Shalom Azure |

445 | God love the senner but hate the sin | NT general | azurelaw | 202887
Dear Mr. C, As a parent, I can understand how heartbreaking it is to see a child went wrong. I believe those who are reading your post will be praying for you and your son, too. Cor 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, 2 Cor 1:4 who comforts us in all our affliction so that we will be able to comfort those who are in any affliction with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. 450 | major teachings about the kingdom | NT general | azurelaw | 209092
Dear dmention, The forum has always been treated as a place for doing home assignment by new comers. After reading your question, it gives me the impression of such. However, we would encourage students to first work them out for this will benefit them more and is a blessing, too. If I have wronged you, kindly accept my apology. In response to your question, may I ask: 1/ Which passage you are dealing with? 2/ What do you understand about the kingdom and the Messiah as described in the 4 gospel books? Shalom Azure |

451 | do i have to go to church | NT general | azurelaw | 210181
Dear lilman, Going to church does not get you to heaven. Mark 1:15 and saying, "The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the gospel." Rom 10:9 that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; Rom 10:10 for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation. John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. John 3:17 "For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him. John 3:18 "He who believes in Him is not judged; he who does not believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. Please read Ephesians 4:11-16 for part of the reason that we go to church. Shalom Azure |
