1 | What is the story of Luke's genology? | Matt 1:16 | TommyS | 111875
Bless you, Taleb This is MORE than interesting. I wonder if Matthew's genealogy tells a different "story", seeing from David to Jesus it goes through a different "branch". Just imagine. It's a miracle in itself that all of Jesus' descendent's names came in that certain order to spell out what it does. Amazing!! Appreciate the time it took. TommyS |

Emmaus, PLEASE don't pay undue attention to the hideous, unChristlike comments offered you by comdudex. Your postings, as I have already told you, continue to provide a great help. YOUR answers have often been the exact ones I needed to read. Thank you!!! I appreciate your gentle spirit that often radiates through your words. You are quick to offer answers and back them up with Scripture and go the extra mile with providing extra places to obtain more detailed info. I hope you realize HOW much you are respected on this post. The extended time of your absence was obvious - again I say welcome back and keep them answers coming! Respectfully, TommyS |

4 | How "mature" in Christ are we today? | 1 Cor 3:1 | TommyS | 111141
CDBJ, I got myself distracted last evening after reading your response to my question. I apologize. What caught my attention the MOST of your note, was your comment - "it has to be 100 percent of one or the other. Either filled with the Spirit or controlled by your old sin nature; it can’t be a little of each at any particular moment in a believers life." Like what EdB, and terrib wrote, your words are timely. Thank you for giving so much of your time to help me make better use of mine. TommyS |

5 | How "mature" in Christ are we today? | 1 Cor 3:1 | TommyS | 111140
Edb, your words ring true to my ears. Perhaps that is why I asked the question, because MY ears needed to "hear what the Spirit is saying". Thank you. TommyS |

7 | How "mature" in Christ are we today? | 1 Cor 3:1 | TommyS | 111089
Thank you terrib, for the most encouraging words. I seem to be further away now than when I started this journey. And this portion of my life seems to be more desert than anything. I truly appreciate the words that He gave you for me tonight. TommyS |

Hello, Prayon. Thanks for responding. That's where I attempted to access it. Still doesn't open. I copied what shows up on the monitor. The same things shows up at my friend's house, so I know it's not me. "Fatal error: Cannot redeclare unixdate() in /usr/local/www/gospelcom/docs/lockman/cinteractive/pnadodb/adodb.inc.php on line 1477" Thanks anyway. TommyS |

Could someone tell me how to access "Christiansinteractive.com"? I know this is suppose to be for "Bible Questions, but someone told me about an article on that site. When I tried to access it I got a sentence that started with "fatal error". My friend tried it on another computer and it did the same thing.

11 | How "mature" in Christ are we today? | 1 Cor 3:1 | TommyS | 111074
Thank you, terrib. Your comment "As in all growth and wisdom we each mature at a pace that we are willing" seems to mean that our spiritual growth is "up to us" rather than, as our "physical being" is UP to Him. When I finally became old enough to fulfill my childhood dream of becoming a police officer like my uncle, I was still two inches too short. Then when you wrote that Paul wouldn't be so polite towards us - OUCH! I've been wondering why others seem to be maturing at a faster clip than I am. Just like when I was a kid, some younger ones grew bigger faster. Maybe instead of asking the Lord to increase my faith - I need to exercize the faith I have. Thank you for the exhortation. TommyS |

12 | How "mature" in Christ are we today? | 1 Cor 3:1 | TommyS | 111073
Thank you Edb. I too believe we are IN the process. I was wondering "where" in the process do you consider us, spiritually speaking? Are we infants, toddlers, children, teenagers, young adults, middle aged, or fully matured as senior citizens? TommyS |

13 | How "mature" in Christ are we today? | 1 Cor 3:1 | TommyS | 110773
If those in Cornith were "infants in Christ", and so many Christians today can't "walk" in the truth of 1 Cor 13 (the love chapter), what "stage of growth" would Paul consider us today?
14 | What is the story of Luke's genology? | Matt 1:16 | TommyS | 110691
Thank you Taleb. Please don't go to any extra work. I looked quickly at Ex 23. Could you explain what you mean by the meanings of the names listed there explains WHY God didn't destroy them too quickly? Is it something besides what verse 29 states? TommyS |

15 | Why two dreams instead of one? | Gen 41:25 | TommyS | 110690
Hi Taleb I'm not real sure I follow your explanation about Revelation's not being all I thought. If I understand you correctly, you are saying that the seventh trumpet is exactly the same thing as the seventh vial etc. Is it possible to get a little more info on what you mean. I will check the seven trumpets side by side with the vials. But, ARE there seven seperate angels to go with the seven seals? TommyS |

16 | Why two dreams instead of one? | Gen 41:25 | TommyS | 110688
Hi Tim. I understand what you mean about Pharaoh's concern might have been the reason for two similiar dreams. But after reading what Taleb wrote about another possiblity, I'll check his info out. Thanks again. TommyS |

17 | What is the story of Luke's genology? | Matt 1:16 | TommyS | 110655
Taleb, about a year ago you said you did a name definition study of Luke. You said "the names translate into a story". What story do they tell? Thank you for reponding to this old topic. TommyS |

18 | Why two dreams instead of one? | Gen 41:25 | TommyS | 110644
(I messed up and put this question under "note", so I'm trying again.) Pharaoh dreamt dreams of seven fat and seven skinny cows, plus seven good heads and seven worthless heads of grains. When Joseph was asked what the dreams mean he answered, “The dreams of Pharaoh are one and the same.” The fat cows and the good wheat both meant seven years of plenty. The skinny cows and worthless heads of grain both meant seven years of famine. Why did he have “double” dreams IF they were one and the same? Wouldn’t seven fat cows being eaten by seven skinny cows offered the same warning? Is there something I am missing here? |

Taleb, I just read what you said, went to dogpatch and typed in New Age Version and up came all kinds of sites. I clicked on this one http://members.aol.com/pilgrimpub/newagebv.htm. I just glanced over it, but hoped back on this site to let you (and anyone else) know about it. That author also said one didn't have to go to far into the book to see the error of such a "doctrine".
