Soem people believe if we die before we ask for forgiveness, including being deilos (cowardly), we are not going to heaven. I don't. I am proving jcsav is incorrect, who believes one can be deilos (cowardly) and a Christian,

10046 | What does heaven look like? | Rev 21:11 | Searcher56 | 18316
pgs, Welcome to the forum. Revelation 21:11-27 describes what the new Jerusalem will look like, some think that is heaven. Heaven is called by Jesus Christ "a kingdom." (Matt 25:34). It is called "the kingdom of God" (Acts 14:22). In the parable of the unrighteous steward, Christ refers to heaven as "the eternal dwellings" (Luke 16:9). Heaven is called "the third heaven" (2Cor 12:2) and "the heaven of heavens" (Deut 10:14) ... it is beyond the stars, even those we don't see. Heaven is called "the joy of your master" (Matt 25:23). Psalm 16:11 tells us: "In Thy presence is fulness of joy; in Thy right hand there are pleasures forever." Hope this helps Steve |

10059 | What kind of death is caused by sin?? | Rev 22:15 | Searcher56 | 224362
Scripture ... Gen 2:17, 3:3..23-24; Eph 2:1-10, Rev 20-22 ... God's day to you, dlane705, and welcome to the SBF, Sin separates us from God - spiritual death. We see this from Genesis to Revelation. To physically die one has no sensation ... but to be physically and spiritually separated is a great pain. Think about the pain when you are apart from a loved one - with no contact. If you were dead, it wouldn't bother you ... but when alive, I have found it to be tough. What do you think? Searcher |

10060 | why was the Bible not added to in 2000yr | Rev 22:18 | Searcher56 | 10681
Chris, The simple answer is that God is the author (2Ti 3:16), so man cannot add to the Word, because he thinks he has something to add. God's name has not stop. It is bring brought to unreached people, including young poeple. The Old Testament was closed with Malachi. I think Jesus sealed it (Mat 5:17-19). Some say evidence points to the completion of the OT canon by a Synod at Jabneh (or Jamnia) between 90 and 100 A.D. The the councils of Hippo (393 AD) and Carthage (397 AD), ratified the New Testament canon in its present form. Steve |
