41 | Question on Eden's rivers, Gen. 2:10ff | Gen 2:10 | RCSCROLL | 9795
Didn't the incredibly powerful, global catastrophe of the Flood obliterate not only Eden itself, but whatever rivers, mountains, and other geographic features might have existed previously? How could the same Tigris, the same Euphrates, and the places on land which Moses mentions have endured from the time of Eden until Moses? It almost seems that you don't beleive what it say's here, do you know that every year the mississippi floods some places become so flooded that they are under water sometimes for months, yet to the surrounding areas it doesn't lose it's shape nor do the peoples of the area see any other difference's other than structural man made items. So can a flood devestate an area yes, does it change all origanal area's no.When it resides the land masse's are generally the same. Love in Christ RCScroll P.S. in John 4:6-7 shows a well that is two thousand years old, and still giving water for a physical thirst. |

Let's all remember that healing was guarenteed while Christ was here phisically with his people, ISA 53:4-5, Healing was provided for at the cross but not guarenteed, as in Matt8:17 it was fulfilled, That is the scripture and his phisical life , when we go to be with him and he makes another heavens and earth then and only then shall we be fully healed. Until then we will all die of our last illness. your brother in CHRIST.RC.Scroll Faith doesn't heal you, only God can when he choose's.It's not his will to do this allways, however we as Christians have allready been healed, the spirit of God is in us and will raise us as he did himself at the cross. Lets remember that in leviticus 19:28 , 'You shall not make any cuts in your body for the dead nor make any tattoo marks on yourselves: I am the LORD. Lets remember that they are worshipping other gods with their, cuttings and tattoos. I would be under the impression that if one could bring glory to god with a tattoo, then with all do respect do so.Not to challenge your point of view of course. But shouldn't we take all in context, in order to bring glory to God, for if you are correct in your beleif then dont cut your beard or round the corners of your head LEV 19:27. love in Christ RCScroll
46 | "UNDER THE BAN?" I NEED AN EXPLAINATION | Deut 13:1 | RCSCROLL | 64531
In short Deu 13 The Lord says that if a false prophet comes that the Prophet must die aswell as everything from the City, buildings, animals and followers must die, for it is an abomination to the Lord.In other words put an end to it completely. VS 2-3 states that the Lord Himself will allow false Prophets and Prophesies, lying signs and wonders to come to pass, to see if we realy love Him or not. And if we buy into thier lie then we also will be judged with them. And lets keep the flood in mind, all perished except the eight people who feard God, and apparently had a real-ationship with Him. Genisis 6, and Genisis 19, all perished under the Theocratic Kingdom because of imorality, specifically outward domination of sexual sin, and repeated rebellion against God. The souls or their spirits would be in Torment awaiting Physical Judgement as Luke 16 depicts.Rich man. And is alluded to in 1 Peter 3:19-21, only Saints, Christs saved Christians will await in Abrahams bossom. Until the Resurrection and Judgement of the all people, yes even the wicked will be resurrected Physically to be judged openly along with their sin. Love in Christ Jesus. RC SCROLL. 49 | Who Killed Goliath? | 2 Sam 21:19 | RCSCROLL | 12565
David did ELHANAN killed a brother of Goliath. (1.) A warrior of the time of David famed for his exploits. In the Authorized Version (2Sa 21:19) it is recorded that "Elhanan the son of Jaare-oregim, a Bethlehemite, slew the brother of Goliath." The Revised Version here rightly omits the words "the brother of." They were introduced in the Authorized Version to bring this passage into agreement with 1Ch 20:5, where it is said that he "slew Lahmi the brother of Goliath." Goliath the Gittite was killed by David (1Sa 17). The exploit of Elhanan took place late in David's reign. (2.) The son of Dodo, and one of David's warriors (2Sa 23:24). Love in Christ RC.Scroll |

57 | Explain Ezekiel 18:2 | Jer 31:29 | RCSCROLL | 67052
jUST AS IT TAKES TIME FOR A GRAPE TO BECOME SOUR, SO WOULD GOD SPEW US OUT OF HIS MOUTH, FOR BEING BITTER AND FILLED WITH SIN, EVEN CONTINUEOUS SIN AS A GRAPE TURNS SOUR.WE BECOME SOUR TO THE LORD WHEN WE LIVE IN SIN,UNREPENTANT SIN. J. VERNON MAGEE WROTE, The children of Israel had a proverb they used, and it is mentioned twice by Jeremiah. In Jeremiah 31:29 we read, "In those days they shall say no more, The fathers have eaten a sour grape, and the children's teeth are set on edge." And then in Lamentations 5:7 we find, "Our fathers have sinned, and are not; and we have borne their iniquities." I believe the people had built this proverb upon a passage back in Exodus: "Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me" (Exod. 20:5). The problem is that the proverb they drew from this verse is incorrect. That is the danger in lifting out one verse of Scripture without considering its context. This is a false proverb: The fathers ate the grapes, and the children paid the penalty. That is true to a certain extent, but God judges the individual, father or son, according to his conduct. This is not a judgment for eternal life, but a judgment in this life according as a man obeys or disobeys Him. LOVE IN CHRIST JESUS RCSCROLL |

Which is how He speaks to us today, if its not scripture its not GOD.All who have ever came into Physical and even Spiritual presense of GOD, Bow the Knee in Honor and Worship to Glorify Him.The overwhelming fear of our own sin we have demands Humility, and beggs for Mercy and Grace. Just remember that Jesus is our grace and mercey. If you seen God today what would you do. Perhapps since Christ wantd us to follow him, he was setting an example, he never asked us to do anything that he wasn't willing to do himself, I suppose it could also be an allagory to the baptism of the Holy Spirit John 1:33. And apparently it was to fullfil all righteousness.Love your brother in Christ. RC.Scroll

Our Lord warned his disciples to prepare for persecution. They were to avoid all things which gave advantage to their enemies, all meddling with worldly or political concerns, all appearance of evil or selfishness, and all underhand measures. Christ foretold troubles, not only that the troubles might not be a surprise, but that they might confirm their faith. He tells them what they should suffer, and from whom. Thus Christ has dealt fairly and faithfully with us, in telling us the worst we can meet with in his service; and he would have us deal so with ourselves, in sitting down and counting the cost. Persecutors are worse than beasts, in that they prey upon those of their own kind. The strongest bonds of love and duty, have often been broken through from enmity against Christ. Sufferings from friends and relations are very grievous; nothing cuts more. It appears plainly, that all who will live godly in Christ Jesus must suffer persecution; and we must expect to enter into the kingdom of God through many tribulations. With these predictions of trouble, are counsels and comforts for a time of trial. The disciples of Christ are hated and persecuted as serpents, and their ruin is sought, and they need the serpent's wisdom. Be ye harmless as doves. Not only, do nobody any hurt, but bear nobody any ill-will. Prudent care there must be, but not an anxious, perplexing thought; let this care be cast upon God. The disciples of Christ must think more how to do well, than how to speak well. In case of great peril, the disciples of Christ may go out of the way of danger, though they must not go out of the way of duty. No sinful, unlawful means may be used to escape; for then it is not a door of God's opening. The fear of man brings a snare, a perplexing snare, that disturbs our peace; an entangling snare, by which we are drawn into sin; and, therefore, it must be striven and prayed against. Tribulation, distress, and persecution cannot take away God's love to them, or theirs to him. Fear Him, who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. They must deliver their message publicly, for all are deeply concerned in the doctrine of the gospel. The whole counsel of God must be made known, Acts 20:27. Christ shows them why they should be of good cheer. Their sufferings witnessed against those who oppose his gospel. When God calls us to speak for him, we may depend on him to teach us what to say. A believing prospect of the end of our troubles, will be of great use to support us under them. They may be borne to the end, because the sufferers shall be borne up under them. The strength shall be according to the day. And it is great encouragement to those who are doing Christ's work, that it is a work which shall certainly be done. See how the care of Providence extends to all creatures, even to the sparrows. This should silence all the fears of God's people; Ye are of more value than many sparrows. And the very hairs of your head are all numbered. This denotes the account God takes and keeps of his people. It is our duty, not only to believe in Christ, but to profess that faith, in suffering for him, when we are called to it, as well as in serving him. That denial of Christ only is here meant which is persisted in, and that confession only can have the blessed recompence here promised, which is the real and constant language of faith and love. Religion is worth every thing; all who believe the truth of it, will come up to the price, and make every thing else yield to it. Christ will lead us through sufferings, to glory with him. Those are best prepared for the life to come, that sit most loose to this present life. Though the kindness done to Christ's disciples be ever so small, yet if there be occasion for it, and ability to do no more, it shall be accepted. Christ does not say that they deserve a reward; for we cannot merit any thing from the hand of God; but they shall receive a reward from the free gift of God. Let us boldly confess Christ, and show love to him in all things.lOVE YOUR BROTHER IN CHRIST,RC.Scroll |
